Hello from Pakistan <3
Hello from Pakistan <3
Hi! My best friend and I, both Pakistani women, are so excited for this year's Burn! We're both development professionals questioning the status quo and looking to meet new people and contribute to what could be, a new reality. There isn't a local Burner group here in Pakistan, so it's a little challenging meeting new people right now. If you're reading this and are in Pakistan (or know of anyone planning to attend this BM this year, or has previously from PK) please give us a shout out

Hey there, welcome to ePlaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

I am in awe of folks traveling those kinds of distances for this event. It was challenge enough getting organized to come from Maryland.
I salute you and wish you a stunning experience.

Welcome sarakazi!
You and your friend might be a good candidate for Green Tortoise Adventure Travel if you don't know anyone or have local Pakistan burners. Google 'em. I've never tried them, but it's probably the route I would go if I were coming from overseas without someone who'd Burned before.
You'd still have to fly in and buy supplies (tent, sleeping bag, etc).
