I have been lurking on the ePlaya for a while, and figured I should say hello.
Based in West Hollywood, CA, I've been reading and learning all about preparation for my first burn and I am very grateful for this awesome resource. I've already learned all sorts of new words like lag bolts, mule line, impact drivers and FIGJAM.
I was not able to get tickets though regular, STEP or OMG sales, but not to fear I believe in miracles and I'm going to put my faith in the universe's ability to provide!
Thank you this resource and for the community that participates in it. I will see you all on the playa very soon.
