First Timer Looking Forward to 2019

Post by tiffanyb7 » Tue Sep 04, 2018 5:47 am

Hey everyone!

Been scrolling this forum and the website for the past few weeks to get a feel of things

BM has been on my 'list' for way over a decade and I feel like my life is in a place where I can now make it happen. Hoping for 2019 to be my year. Will be travelling from Dubai so definitely looking for the UAE Burner Community and a camp to join as I will more than likely be travelling alone.

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Hey,

I live in Dubai and went for my first burn last year (2018). Twas magical, of course. But the emotional crash when you return is rough. I do know that there is a Dubai-based burner community but haven't found them yet.

Hey Tiffany, welcome!

This community is awesome. Do your homework and research, research, and do not feel afraid to post questions. 2017 was my virgin year and the posts here helped me so much!

Coming from Dubai, you probably won't feel the desert is trying to kill you like I did on the first day ;)
