I've been to the Big Burn twice (2014 and 2017), and 2019 will be my third time, and hopefully also my first year at a regional.
What brought me here? I've been reading posts on these forums for years, perusing collective wisdom from veteran burners, reading stories, and experiences from TTITD. Honestly, I try to explain this to non-burners, and I struggle to put into words just what Burning Man really is. It really is something you have to experience for yourself (and even then you won't necessarily 'get it' the first time).
From a more practical standpoint, I finally made an ePlaya account so I could contact some burners and ask questions about some of the more practical side of things (namely the FIGJAM cooler and to learn a bit more about solar power). I never cease to be amazed by the ingenuity and creativity of burners!
