Virgin Burner

Post by NeaBisek » Sun Jun 02, 2019 7:34 pm

Hi Burners,

I am considering attending Burning Man this year. Never been. Thinking of an Escher costume. Driving my car.

Need to do more research on how to prepare. Do I stock my car with food and water??? Will bring camping gear but can sleep in my car. Have camped a lot so not afraid.

I am so excited to join. Have heard about Burning Man for many years, and attending the San Francisco Art Institute where they were constructing a giant figure for the event.

See you there!

It sounds like you need to do a lot of research. Start with tickets. You have missed the main sale and it is an uphill struggle to get a ticket. If you should get a ticket, then there is a wealth of information on what you need on the Playa.

Welcome to ePlaya!

If you are in the Bay, or anywhere, connect with your Regional.

What's a Regional - that can be found by reading the burningman.org website.

There are many a "burning man packing list" to be found on the Internet that you can customize.

There are also volunteer art build opportunities, perhaps like the one you mentioned, for projects in major burner cities, findable by the Regional. Many Regionals are active on FB, formally or informally.

Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Thank you, and best of LUCK!
