Hello all burners.
I am looking for a person or persons that would attempt a mystical journey from washington to nevada in august. This journey would be on bike-back in late august to burning man. If there are any interested parties you should reach me as soon as possible; for there are plans to be made. Send me an E-mail at [email protected]
PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD because I know there is some nut out there like me, =P
Peace and regards,

A man can be more than that
As a mountain can be no more....
Than a temporary monument
Walk as you will and live as death wills

cross country
I had a friend who did something like that a number of years ago, only she went a-wandering the southwest for a month, then finished up by going to BMan. She started out in Seattle, too.
Myself, I went my first 4 years on a motorcycle, so I know it's possible to have everything you need. It also makes life easier if you have someone bring some water in for you.
What kind of bike are you riding(road, mountain, etc.)?
My first year I took a little used forest service road that connected two back highways, letting me cross the Columbia at the Dalles. It was beautiful, but it's also about 30 miles of gravel road.

On the ride stop
I saw that you will be coming from Washington to Burning Man this year on bike. If you are going the back way to Gerlach through Klamath Falls, OR past Alturas, CA then you will be passing right by Tionesta, CA (south of Tulelake, CA North of Canby, CA on Hwy 139). If you need a place to stay and a hot shower, you are welcome at Eagles Nest RV Park in Tionesta, CA. www.eaglesnestrvpark.com
