KIDSVILLE PRESENTS: HOPES AND FEARS for the FUTURE

Post by we0ne » Wed Jun 21, 2006 10:47 pm

The many families of Kidscamp will be doing a performance at Center cafe this year titled: Kidsville presents - Hopes and Fears for the Future,on Friday, Sept. 1st 12pm - 1pm and we will be parading to the MAN right afterwards. You are all invited and encouraged to come check out what the kids and their families have to say/do. I guarantee it will put a huge smile on your face.

Are there any music collectives/bands that would be willing to join our parade and play some funky live music while we make our way from center cafe to the man? We are looking for anything fun, super energetic and live. Horns, drums, guitars -whatever you've got. This would be about a 45 minute - 1 hour committment. This is an opportunity to make the kids at BM feel extra special with great tunes as they march to the man feeling awesome about themselves, their families and all the great people who show them so much love at BM. We want the kids to feels they have a voice, it's being heard and accepted.

The most gracious musicians would be rewarded with lots of love, up close look at 150 families getting their grove on, kids being kids and many offerings of food, drink and positive energy the whole week at BM from our group.

Thanks in advance, looking forward to hearing from those willing to play

Cheers!

P.S. Not being rude, but for those of you who feel the urge, save the "kids shouldn't be at BM" comments for another thread - read it/heard it - it's old.
