We're back and we'll be doing shabbos up Playa style. Here's the announcement:
Olam haBa, the World to Come, the Future. Shabbos Ki Seitzei in Black Rock City. Candle lighting at 7:13, followed by joy-full prayer and song and a veggie/milchic (fish ok) potluck. Every shabbos is a piece of the World to Come, a look into the?/a? future. Bake challahs, bring kosher juice of the grape, see how the Torah portion reflects and
teaches about the future. Dance, daven, shmooze, eat.
We're at Chance and 4:30. We'll also gather for shabbos morning at 10am and havdalah, the fire cermony to end the sabbath, at 8pm saturday.
Come by other times to just hang out, to ask religious/spiritual questions or start discussions in those veins.
shalom v'ahava,
Menachem

Midnight Meditation
Thursday night at 11:37pm we'll gather at the JCC (Chance and 4:30) and then around 12 head out to the end of 4:30 for a middle of the night meditation.
Jewish tradition forbids divination, but we can use meditation for direction and we can even ask for spirit guides.
Maybe I'll see you there.
shalom v'ahava,
Menachem
