Morning, kiddies. Formidable hardware, YG. What's the little one about? Looks like an art car wannabe.

hah yeah Marty, the little one would probably make a little art car, but mostly for the Hof, so folks can scoot down to the lake, and since it floats, out to get the crawdad traps. Hoping it'll do well in snow (if we get any), too.

Sounds like you had a lot of fun with that recipe - was it spur of the moment or did you taste, season, taste, season, repeat?

Be sure to have a nice wine with the steak... :) (getting back to the bar theme)
Milady, I have several fine vintages from the St. James Winery outside of the town of St. James - Red Raspberry, Blueberry, and Blackberry. PLUS, available are Les Bourgeois' Concord and Les Bourgeois' 'Riverboat Red'. All are fine MISSOURI wines. The US Department of Agriculture recognizes Augusta Valley here in Missouri as Viticultural Area #1 in the U.S.,, FOLLOWED by Napa Valley (#2). Les Bourgeois' Riverboat Red will be my first choice. I could actually go there tonight if I wanted to, because Les Bourgeois operates the Blufftop Bistro restaurant with spectacular views of the Missouri River.

espresso, croissants... drool. Apple juice and jasmine tea for brekkie today. Jello in the fridge. I'm on a clear diet for regularly scheduled tests tomorrow. Thinking of what treat for dinner after it's over.

Farewell sweet crane, he knew ye well.

Starts the coffee to help wake up to a beautiful day and a smashing sunrise. Hopefully rain on Thursday. Gotten kind of quiet in here. Giants won in the 13th inning last night, thanks to the rookies. Tonight's another go at the Dodgers. Go Giants

Have a great day

bye bye crane. I think I have a lot of farewells to favorite things in the offing as I get mobile. "Portable property, Mr. Pip. Portable property."
Off to the docs to get tests over with. Looking forward to a nice meal later today. All in all, one day of jello and tea wasn't bad.
Everyone have a good day! Go Giants!

Ah, when I had a test involving jello the day before, it wasn't the jello that was bad...

The degree of yuck I was expecting never came to pass. I'm good at chugging nasty potions, so that helped, and they weren't as nasty as I was expecting.

yeah, that's the test. Funny I always think of coral... waiting on some more tests. No concern at the moment.

I've noticed that the potions they give for anything radiologic or to 'clean you out' prior to a procedure tend to taste better than they did ten years ago. The trick is to get the medicine where it will do what it's supposed to, not have the patient spew all over the bathroom or kitchen sink as they hold their nose and try to chug the stuff. Last time I went in for a prostate exam, they gave me this cherry tasting stuff for the night before and the following a.m. It wasn't too bad, except it did have a rather nasty aftertaste.

Getting positively geriatric here, comparing procedures, conditions and illnesses.
You know chemo causes hair loss. At its peak, the bathtub looked like I was ankle-deep in dead muskrats. The loss is selective. Torso, limbs, crotch, ass - mostly gone, some growing back. Head - mostly gone, dark hair went first, now the silver is seriously thinning. But the ears. The ears - like fucking WOLFMAN. That stuff just won't go away.

Here's your TMI

and

Here's your drink.

Cheers!

*strolls in, starts ECM*
so, how is it, Elorrum? feeling different? so happy for you, love to hear about your perceptions.

dang smokey here again today. the fire is approaching 90K acres. Seems it's not growing much, but, they can't put it out,either......very rough terrain.

If you haven't (everyone) check out Doc "Amtrakathon 15" thread. We can organize a little there, if we choose.

lesson for today (yesterday really): don't try out your new pellet gun, non what you thought was an empty can of spray foam insulation, near anything you don't want covered in the sticky, expanding goo...........
