I am always so utterly miserable my first day on the playa. I am very polite to my camp mates, but tell them to avoid me that first day. I apologize and head off to sleep early. The next day I am refreshed and ready to take on the world. By the end of the week, I am just tired, but not crabby.

my only crabbiness on playa occurs around hippies outside the fence, and how clever/self entitled, they think they are.

After 10 years of camping all my friends have learned that as soon as we arrive at camp everything has to be set up and completed before we relax or else my nerves just fall apart and I become a... not so nice person. :oops:

My flatmate just announced that he's moving out because I'm such a grumpy bitch. Maybe I'd be less grumpy is his girlfriend hadn't come to "visit" three months ago, a few weeks after he moved in no less, and never left, or if when they did the dishes they were clean at the end or if they could recycle like responsible adults. :evil:

I'm thrilled that I'm going to have to find a new flatmate from the other side of the world. Just thrilled. :x
