Verified where?? How?? There are no cameras that are publically accessible inside the Camps. This has been a recurring theme, if ICE has nothing to hide why is this done? Cell phones where taken away before our representatives from congress where allowed in.

I found Simon's Intercept article insightful. In other agencies I've worked for, when there is a concern, the Inspector General does a thorough and fair investigation, then issues new operating rules. Those rules are followed.

What is clear in the Intercept article is that CBP & ICE culture is so deteriorated that they simply ignore their Inspector General.

That culture problem goes to the top.

Personally I think the family separations are a crime against humanity which belongs in the International Court of Justice in The Hague.
