Radical Self-Reliance is dead.

https://burningman.org/event/preparatio ... %20Program

Why do we pretend the Principals even exist these days when the BORG is hell-bent of sacrificing them at the drop of a hat as long as it supports their "Bigger is Better" ethos.

Ok, I get some of the safety issues this attempts to address. But at the same time I'm thinking...."You bring it, you support it". If that means all large fuel storage is controlled in a specific location that's fine. Whats next? Hot Station debit cards?

End rant :x

Just wait. For only 12% BORG will allow everyone to take all year to pay for their Burning Man experience using your new Burner Card.

.......But you'll save 3% on gas at all affiliated gas stations on your route to the Playa.

And really, the convenience of withdrawing Burner Cash from the center camp ATM will make it so much easier to buy my avocado toast with my coffee.

(Again, MODS, we really need a BARF emoji)

That could be problematic. There's Unable-to-care-for pets, and there's rescue pets, but I fear this may be...
This includes Florida Man, Southern Man, the Californian Mountain Hippy and others, with most still poorly described in the literature due to even the male researchers fleeing encounters.
Whatever it is, it seems likely to end up being an ever revolving door of poodle-returned. You hit the point where regular clients don't want it, rescue takers don't want it and staff don't want it around. A friend took a Returned from a SPCA, it was its fifth or sixth 'placement'. When he had success (shock collar), even though he hadn't paid the $50 ownership transfer fee, they contacted him that they'd transfer ownership to him for free. Dogie non grata.

I mean, imagine a playa camp Adopt a Rescue Burner, and the look on their faces as you try to get by without making eye contact, and then desperately feel the need for a shower.

Wonder what the SPCA policy is on letting adoptions out the door without getting the chop, or was this to be a two part solution. I guess you could offer a package deal that includes a shock collar.

Legend has it that the mountains of southern Oregon so resembled southern Appalachia that the Klu Klux Klan and affiliated shitbags being chased out of the south during Reconstruction chose to settle here. Lots of shitbag descendants with confederate flags on their trucks in these parts…

Maybe that’s what he means. Surely he’s not talking about the Caucasus mountain range separating the European and Asian continents.

Have you considered slaves carrying a sedan chair or pulling a rickshaw? Unlimited range with no electricity at all. A little food, more water, and somebody is bringing all that for you, right? you fly in.

From the Land of toxic Yes: Open Carry Comedians tour, coming to your town. I’m pretty certain I saw a crime of assault on live tv last night. In yes land do all you feel like, and get away with it.

Apparently LAPD respects the boundaries of this fairy tale land and it’s desires.

On the playground, in a parking lot or bar, nobody else’s business, yeah a bitch slap. Live global tv? No question: we have lost.

the poodle is not the smartest breed of dog.

in FACT, it is one of the most annoying, ignorant, repetitive and just plain mind-numbingly stupid dogs there is.

Fun how "folks looking for accommodations" easily evolves into, "do you have extra tickets? (and btw, I'll help do nothing, and I don't want to camp with you either)"

Real smooth, this ticket begging season starts yesterday 2 days ago.
Sooner or later, it will get real strange...

I'm so glad we've the Ignore feature. I can see that the poodle has started pooping around again, but I don't have to get close enough to smell it or step in it.
