Good news is that the constant 'get away dad' stuff only lasts a little while, then it fluctuates between 'get away' and 'I'll do anyting to get your attention'

And as far as I've seen in the boy, and his 6yrold sis, the fluctuations are around for a while... but YMMV

Always a pleasure to be with ALL of you
(yes, YOU).

Am saying farewell to linger
for good your fondness is.

(to you, yes you, all of you phuckers)

Helloooo, anyone here? I'd love something a bit stronger. A shot perhaps.

(daydreaming of warm beaches where naked frolicking is welcomed)

Ahh, Zule
I'm looking for almost anything. Been out for four months because of a broken leg.

make that five months. Anyways, I need something soon. My bank accounts about to go in the red. Yeah, was in a car accident. They did surgery and stuck a titanium rod in my bone. But I'm almost completly back to normal. I've also got fun scars.

Well, I'm staying with my rents in the northern burbs at the moment. But I used to live in uptown and am hoping to find something down there.

Could be tough there aren't a lot of jobs compared to the number of people who want them in that area.

Parents are good, they help to avoid hell hole jobs of desperation.

Yea, I've worked in that area for the last four years though so I should have a somewhat better chance. Though I'm more looking for a couple of part time jobs instead of a full time job.

My parents are ok but I may just have to settle with anything soon. Cause I already owe them money.

What kind of work are you looking for Z?

well my last job title was Exhibit Development Technician for the Minnesota Historical Society,... basically an exhibit fabricator with creative input,.. I've worked for MNHS for 10 years and really don't want to go back to cabinetmaking kinds of work if I can help it. It's almost a drag to have been as successful in such a narrow field.

Hmmm, most interesting. I think somebody I used to work with worked at the historical society. Anyways, so were you a carpenter before? I've been thinking about the trades a little myself. I've been out of college since 01 and don't know if I'm ready to go back. It didn't quite agree with me last time.

RobbiDobbs walks in, stomps the snow off her boots, and quietly sits down at the corner stool.

Hi Z.

Looks carefully at Blue

Hello Dobbs, if I may call you that, I think we are on self serve at the moment.

Zule, did you have any formal training or did most of those places train you? I'd like to work with my hands for a while but I don't know what to look into. I'm so sick of customer service but that's the only experience I have.

I've been recovering from a long, painful, emotional affliction, commonly known as being "in love."

Gawd, I'm glad that's over with. Now I can get down to the serious business of getting my life back together. I cleaned my house today, first time in 10 months. And I've been reading taoism books and Cerebus. Today I got to do some voice over recording for a documentary. That made me feel a bit better about Life. Especially since I got paid for it, and the director says I can expect more work in about a month.

Generally, things are looking ok from this stool.

I guess it's just the three of us now.
May I have some Baileys, straight up?

Hey Z, have you thought of getting into the business of making your own furniture? You could use the creative elements of your last job and also your woodworking skills. If it works for ya then you need to build me something cool. ;)
