...certain people just don't have our zircadian rhythms I guess.

Robbi strips off her clothes like a small explosion, checks the temperature of the hottub, still warm from earlier today.

Let's heat this bad-boy UP!
I got this lovely bottle of Bailey's, that I'm just dying to find the bottom of.

Would you like to have a bottle of something? I'm happy to get it for you.

Call center customer "slave-us".

I just loooove working on the phones. I guess one could say I have a fetish about headsets. I've done retail, but it was a looong time ago.

blueniteowl rips off clothes as well, she is a little self concious about her recent weight gain but knows that it is only because she was healing and couldn't walk for two months.

Hmmm. I'm thinking Skyy Blue. It comes in cool blue bottles and kind of tastes like fresca

I don't think I could work at a call center, it would drive me nuts. I need to be able to walk around. I've mostly done retail. Though my last job was hosting late night at a diner.

Right on! There's half a bottle of it back here.

Robbi runs behind the bar, naked as a jaybird, and fetches the bottle of Skyy Blue. Her body is curvy with padding, and she doesn't seem the least bit self-conscious.

Here ya go! Is that enough?

I'm afraid you've got the wrong thing. I was thinking of the malt beverage thingies. Only 5% alc/vol and you can drink them all day and night without getting sick.

I'm actually thinking seriously of getting back into retail, if only for the exercise. I'd make the same amount as I do now, and if I can do it f/t, I'd be sooo all over that. I've gotten lazy as a result of casual dress call center work. It's like I just have to fall out of bed, put shoes on and arrive on time. No challenge.

Robbi then jumps into the hottub, blows bubbles in the water, then tips the big, half-full bottle back.

Is this decadent, or *what*?

Retail is ok, I'm just sick of how dull it is. I'd like to be able to work more with my hands.

Oh...sorry.
Not sure if I saw malt beverage thingies back there.

Robbi climbs out of the hottub, pulls a chinese robe on that must have been left by Sensei, and goes back behind the bar. She riffles thru the refrigerator for several minutes, moving cans this way and that...

TAH-DAH! I found one! I'm sure there are more mixed in with all this other donated beer.

Excellent, I just used to have a party nick name and have learned not to drink like I used to.

Blue steps off hottub and searchs around in bag

Would you like to listen to a cd? I've got the Amelie soundtrack.

Blue loves the Amelie cd because it allows her to daydream about france and europe and traveling.

Currently I'm in between hobbies. Or maybe I've become my own hobby. Or maybe I just have too much time on my hands because I just gave up a time consuming "hobby".

Robbi then climbs back into the hottub, dunks under, then sits back and waddles her feet at the churning surface.

I've been spending a lot of time lately with personal ads. I like to meet people.

I find it hard meeting new people. Though it could just be that I live in minnesota and everybody is to busy trying to keep warm rather than talk to new people. Come to think of it, that may just be it, I seem to meet more people in the summer.

Feel free. I really have no preference about music.

It was a cute movie, only saw it once. Yer basic joie de vive plot line. Cottoncandy for the soul if you ask me. Good, sticky fun.

She then takes a long pull from the Bailey's bottle, suddenly finding it empty.

While your up, could you get the bottle of Kaluha from the booze shelf? No need for a glass, there's only about a 1/4 of it left, and it won't last long.

Sure thing. Boy this is nice. I love the depths of the night.

Blue sticks cd into player and grabs bottle of Kaluha. She twirls to the music with a far away look in her eyes.

Not really, though I've meet a few people on the eplaya. I'm just in a low point at the moment. The people I used to hang out with this last year have drifted apart. I'm more of a local coffee house chatter. I don't have a whole lot of friends, mostly aquaintences.

Blue hands Dobbs bottle and slides back into hottub

The fridge seems to be full of assorted donated beer. Feel free to browse.

She then graciously accepts the remainder of the Kaluha from Blue, cracks open the twist-top, and upends the bottle.

Coffee-shop chat...hmmm. I live in a tiny town, where the only coffee shop for that kind of activity is for x-tians. Blech. We use to have a good one, but the owners kind of flaked out on the whole project, and it died.

Hey, Geek! Are you going to come in, or just camp out at the bar?

I grew up in a very small town. Less than 300 people whan I lived there and probably still less than 500. It had one deli/coffee shop. Years ago there was more social stuff going on when the farmers would bring their milk into the creamery every morning but the milk truck running a route kinda destroyed that.

Wasnt long before the drugstore closed, then the corner market, then the barber shop ... people could drive 15 miles and get stuff cheaper and would. The town doctor moved away, the shoe shop closed. No real business there anymore.

I'll buy a round ...

Post by Kristines » Fri Jan 14, 2005 1:01 am

Barkeep: Put the next round on me. Barkeep? Hello? Anyone here?

*steps behind the bar, rummages for a clean glass, fills it with ice and adds about half a glass of lime-infused gin. Tops it with some sweet lime juice and a healthy wedge of lime.*

Anyone want to join me?

There are lots of good coffee shops in minneapolis. Though it seems like a lot of the people around here don't want to meet anyone new. They stay to themselves a lot.

Boy that delay is killer and I wish this thing would update itself.

Blue grabs another drink and twirls to the music. She doesn't mind her nakedness and thinks back on the days when her mother diapproved of nakedness.

Takes a big drink of her gin and says: "Um, can I join you in the tub?"
