Whee! I get to work an extra hour tonight! Wow! I didn't think I would get the opportunity to put up with these bone headed, shit eating, bottomfeeding, brain dead cretins for an extra sixty minutes, but now I do! How did I get to be so fucking lucky?

Okay, I'll level with you, Rian. I was actually a fed at the time, working undercover on prison corruption: specifiacally how one could violate Nevada state law and end up in a California prison.Rian Jackson wrote:oh, kitties, looks like the convict wants to play!theCryptofishist wrote:Yes please. p.s. to the person who was horrified that I was tickled by her salesperson enthusiasm. She is adorable doing it, and is learning public speaking skills, safety skills, math skills AND is hoping to raise enough money to send herself to Girl Scout Camp next summer. Is that heretical? Well, I don't think so. Want to buy some cookies?

You were trying to set them on me. That implies a relationship with them that might include some sort of "guardianship." Shall we take this to the semantics thread?Rian Jackson wrote:[miffed] those are NOT my cats! [/miffed]theCryptofishist wrote:Okay, I'll level with you, Rian. I think the air conditioning was working but I don't remember using it much,.. might just be my memory. As you go west, even in Nebraska it gets dryer and the heat doesn't seem so bad.
I brought every thing with me but did end up getting more water, ice and cigarettes in Nevada. I'm sure that didn't help my mileage either but with the trailer it was going to be shit anyway so I said fuck it. I like being prepared with every thing I think I'll need when I start out on a trip.
Last year any way the playa didn't feel so hot either, but when your used to the kind of moist heat I get around here that was to be expected.
I did get a weird head the first couple of days on the playa, I think I was dehydrated and hadn't gotten in the habit of sucking on the hose form my hydration pack often enough at first.

Oh, I vaguely remember that. Of course I KNEW i couldn't be orignal. No, for me it came from too much reading of old books in the dashing mode. Okay, I'm reinventing the shallowest of new age fasion. I'm okay wiht that. If only I had the clothing budget.Martiansky wrote:Fishy, have you ever seen the hussar jacket that Adam Ant used to wear?

Um Tish, maybe you should cut off Rian's drink supply for a few hours and pour some coffee in her. She's getting wild.
