Oh, I vaguely remember that. Of course I KNEW i couldn't be orignal. No, for me it came from too much reading of old books in the dashing mode. Okay, I'm reinventing the shallowest of new age fasion. I'm okay wiht that. If only I had the clothing budget.
Fishy, check out a well known auction source......I saw 1 there.
You know what? I think McCall's might've had a pattern for a jacket like that.......

you're the one who wanted to be mounted on a wall.

what's that about a hussy?
Dang Rian, how many have you had?

Um Tish, maybe you should cut off Rian's drink supply for a few hours and pour some coffee in her. She's getting wild.
it's not my fault what you write.

i'm sober. maybe that's the trouble

Oh yeah, then there was the Folkways patterns--they had some great capes and hungarian folk shirts--do they still make those? exist? You do realize that I have enough sewing skills to do buttons. I never really learned to use my mother's machine and I'm not sure if I want to commit to buying my own. Sure the MrFishist has one, but it's in need of repair. Damn. Damn. must mutter.

And Woodrow Don't say "he, he, he--she said throat" Understood?

Fishy, you can sew!
*Waves magic wand over Fishy's head*

Maybe go rummaging and find a short coat that fits, then I'm sure they sell gold piping like or close to that(do you have walmart?) and look at the adam ant jacket and go for it!

Most of what I brought would not have necessarily needed to be kept cool. Mac &cheese, tuna, canned peas, box chili, pouch chicken, Spam, peanut butter stuff like that. My bread seemed to do ok, but I had crackers as well. I made up a trail mix with not only salty nuts but also pecans because I love them and a lot of mixed dried fruit particularly dried bananas for the potassium.
Vita-C or what ever that electrolyte drink mix is called. Dry cereal and a box of rice milk, I think I'd go with soy next time. I had way more than I needed but ended up using it because of the extra week in Nebraska waiting for my transition to be rebuilt.

Thanks for the list I just wrote it down. That's funny, I was thinking about some of the same stuff......maybe it's a Minnesota thing?!

{plops on a barstool}

whew! I need a break and a beer. I feel spent. Those little bucketheads can really take it out of you (no reference to the buckethead we all know and love....true story, my nickname for them ages before I became acquainted with the eplaya).

Oh, the rice milk.....is that like a dry mix or stuff that is liquid in a box that doesn't need to be refridgerated? Soy milk makes my mouth itch, I think I'm allergic to it. Same thing with apples and some kinds of nuts.

(woodrow....yes, I said nuts!)

Well, you can say it, and I would thank you, since it is me.

Emerald City? Hardly. That would be my office behind me. I'm working on jazzing it up ala Zule's icon as we speak.

Hey there M. good to see you tonight.

BTW, the electrolyte replacement stuff is amazing. I found that I actually felt better than I ever had after being there and guzzling that stuff. Emergen-C is the stuff we used. Two packs in a liter. Sip it all morning and you're good to go. Oh, and lots of water too.
It's going to be alright.

I'm serious! I went back a page to find which transvestite was fucking with Stuart... figured that it was happening up on the borg threads or something, but that he was venting about it here...
