Blasting in the door with a commotion bordering on a manic frenzy...
(Muttering and rushing around touching everything twice and checking off mental lists)
Ok... truck’s loaded up
tools on truck...
Morning, people..
Hey!!! Don’t throw out those coffee dregs!!! I’ll take those, if you don’t care!
So I’m outta here and just wanted to refill the thermos and say “Howdy”. Gotta go out and make just enough money so that I, too, can not quite afford insurance.
See ya later!!
Blasts’ but out the door and zooms off down the road...

Oh, my god, yes. My husband and I got insurance through my last place of employment (which was his place of employment at the time, but that's another story) in May of '95.Sensei wrote:40K !!!
Ok, thank god for insurance. Hope your all better now, blueniteowl. I talk shit about my job but when trouble comes, and it will, I'll be glad I have it.
In June of '95 he had a grand mal seizure on a SamTrans bus.
In August of '95 he was diagnosed with Stage IV-B Hodgkin's lymphoma.
The next two years saw an untold amount of misery for him, involving surgery, post-op complications, chemo, and two bouts of pneumonia, both requiring hospitalization...and PacifiCare paid for all of it.
We've been uninsured since shortly after my layoff in May. I'm not sure I've ever let on to anyone how much that terrifies me.
Well, that was a barstool confessional if ever there was one....

So, what model camera is it? Or do you just not want to talk about it for now?

Tis some toy of a kids' camera my girl got for christmas, just now sitting down to fiddle with it. For some reason, I can't get regularly snapped pix to download; however, if I click a few buttons on the computer I can get a live movie-camera type feed and am snapping stills that way. They are all kinda blurry though (I'm trying to be still, but the big blue ball likes to bounce around!).PurpleKoosh wrote:.......So, what model camera is it? Hey fishy fishy ... We only live an hour or so apart. I'm kind of pretty good seamstress. Aren't you nearby? I also know a fabulous fabric store or two ... let me know if I can help.theCryptofishist wrote:You do realize that I have enough sewing skills to do buttons. I never really learned to use my mother's machine and I'm not sure if I want to commit to buying my own. Sure the MrFishist has one, but it's in need of repair. Damn. Damn. must mutter.
