Zulegoona, Heli, Sputnik, Bambi... good evening to all. Oh, giggles... if you could find it within your own wonderful self to magically conjure up something really dark... a good porter, perhaps? It’s getting cold and snowing here and I’m feelin’ like something with substance.

Gay men dig you huh, spunik? Yeah, gay guys seem to like me for whatever reason. Maybe it’s the “in touch with my feminine side” thing I’ve got going on. I’ve been told that I’m a lesbian trapped in a man’s body... maybe that’s got something to do with it, too. I dunno. I wasn’t hit upon too much on the playa, though. Oh, well, when it comes to attention, I figure beggars can’t be choosers, so I’ll appreciate what compliments I can get. But I’d never ever be a tease, mind you... that’s just not nice. I always felt weird telling people my name is Velvet on the playa. Like I thought they'd think I made it up, which I didn't. Now I have a real playa name!

Thanks for asking and the 6-pack, giggles... splitting a six pack seems to be a perfect cap to the day.

Yes, she let me off just in time to fix dinner. That was unusually nice of her, actually. Metal was forged and bent. Ideas were drawn out of the mind’s eye and have begun to become tangible. Good music always pulses through the shop and it was a nice, peaceful and generally good day. I hope the same can be said for all of you all too.

I brought a jar of Good Vibes to open up and share around. I canned them myself last autumn.

Hmmm.. My burner bud in Louisville is having the same type of situation placed upon him, samtzu. He and talked about just that last night. I mentioned to him that often what we perceive as setbacks are really opportunities that we haven’t’ recognized yet. But I’m betting you may understand that. In the grand scheme of things August will be here oh so quickly, but lots and lots can happen between now and then. Ah... just be a leaf on the river... let it come. Things happen exactly as they are meant to happen.

I have known for years that I am moving towards something very good (other than death) but I don't know what it is... so, as far as I'm concerned, it is all forward progress. Hell, I may get enough free time soon to finish my novel (that I started quite some time ago)... it all works out...

And M-Sky... I am trying like hell to make it this year... trust me, YOU are one of the people I want to meet... actually, I can't think of anyone here that I don't want to meet... hmmmmm... never been in that situation before...
