Hm, not sure what's going on, just caught the deer and the happening heli (what's new?!) and
we all fuck each other over
Nah, some people do, but those are the ones to stay away from.

Anyways, it's been dumping all day today, tons of snow finally. Getting ready to head up to the hill tomorrow am. Expecting 3 feet over the next couple days, woo hoo!

Picked out paint colours at the new house tonight, going for a fresh tropical slew of colours...pale avocado, beeswax, begonia, cream, butterscotch. Excited! Not fighting with the babe anymore. New workshop space all planned out. Lots of time and money on that, holy.

A friend left a message tonight with a slapping sound and said, does this remind you of Burning Man? It was the sound of spanking. hahaha. Hmm, tickets still have not arrived, ordered them almost 2 weeks ago.

I'm pretending to make tea, anyone want some (there's no tea maker in my office)? Chamomile, been eating too much chocolate again.

hiya Sparklevelvet the Fist. I was just finishing up a cup of tea, thanks anyway. I think my chi has come back down to earth and I'm starting to feel sleepy. Congrats on the house, and I'm jealous of hte snow (sticks her tongue out), the house colors sound delightful, and I'm jealous of your job too (sticks her tongue out again).

that was rj. gigs, how can you want my job when you don't (?) know what I do? Or do you? Yeah, I think the colours will rock. I have a huge overstuffed dark purple couch and chair that goes in the living room, parlour style, I'm all about the parlour/exotic thing. The buterscotch goes in the living room, like a darker version of beeswax. Hmmm, it is actually on the same colour card, so no 'like'. All trim will be the cream colour, small house, must be slightly matchy. Begonia is a subdued fushia, just for one spot for some brightness, the doublewide doorframe, not around the door which isn't there but inside where the door would be (huh?) from kitchen to dining.

Not very cold, not that cold for sure! Let's see, tonight it is about -4 C, so if 0 Celcius = 32 F, then you can do the math? Last week we had -15 C to -20 C, very, very, very cold for here, my veggies were fricking freezing in the delivery truck. Records were set all over BC. We are like a cold coastal region, although 8 hours from the coast. Meaning, very high levels of precip, lots of ferns, cedar trees, that sort of thing, and tons of snow in the winter, but not very cold. It does not snow a lot when it's very cold. -5 to -1 (but not a degree warmer!) makes most excellent snow for snowboarding. Tomorrow is going to be a madhouse. This is the kind of town that partially shuts down on a big snow day.

Okay, I looked on my thermom, -4 C = 24 F, -20 C = 0 F.

Hello???

Anybody here?

(Setting cooler down on bar)

Forgive my absence, but I was crafting a great volumous tome over on another thread.

So... I brought a whole bunch of a beer called “Fiddler’s Elbow”... a damn fine English Ale. Yumm-ie.

Somebody turn on the lights and let me see who’s here...

The door opens, and in steps blueniteowl. She unwraps herself from her many layers, looks around and sighs. She puts her stuff away and proceeds to slip behind the bar and pour herself a glass of wine. She then settles into a big comfy chair in front of the fire.

A bar? Hmmm. Looks nice but what do they have on tap? Well, what do we have here? Someone left some cold bottles of beer on the counter. And a note that says "please help yourself, but share". I don't mind if I do, i'll take one and leave 4 of these travel sized bottles of Maker's Mark in it's place. This place looks nice but it's too quiet for me tonight. I'll have to come back later and check it out again.

I get no kick from champagne...

But seriously folks, I just read your post in the fuck thread, Miss Blue. Holy Fuck! But think of it this way: you're just gettin' all the shit for '05 outta the way early. Things will be looking up, I'm sure. I'm certain you deserve it.

I gotta go... And you need some sleep. Bottoms up!

The champagne, not you, silly!

See ya' round, Miss Blue.

*M walks into the bar....seems empty. Decides to start a fire in the fireplace with some of that cedar wood Heli brought (hope he doesnt mind), then starts up the hottub too. Starts a large pot of coffee to brew. Walks out to begin the work day, at least it's a bit warmer out there today*
So the theme this year is like a giant camp out in the desert? With people bringing lots of shit from all over? uh.. -Marscrumbs

black. strong.

had nightmares. woke up scared and out of breath. the nice thing was that, since I was waking up every hour or so, i was able to enjoy the sound of it actually RAINING here, not just sprinkling/misting that the other Seattlites CALL rain...

I have a feeling that it's going to be one of THOSE days, you know?

bad bad bad...
