I like it. I'm into the camera and I will be tracking down as many eplayans as possible this year. Last year I was unprepared and went at the last minute. This year I am going to try to be a little more ready for it!

Blue sets one margarita in front of Z

Oh it's my parents computer and it was attacked a couple of months ago. So now it freezes and does weird stuff. It would let me post and started going to the download menu, so I had to restart it.

Hey tony...

Your photo of the trip fence at Sol Henge is the pic of the week for that site you're stuff is on. Good God.. I loved that thing.

I noticed this when checking out the root site. I’m looking for a place to act as a photo cache to be able to share pics from time to time. Any suggestions?

Ah, I know... it really is quite an honor. Out of something like 60,000 photographers and some millions of pics =)

You can't link to pics on that site, and unless you are a paid subscriber the limit is like 10 or 20 photos. You can buy your own domain for like 10 bucks at go daddy and pay like $3.50 a month for space from them for up to 500 Megs. It is a great deal and they rarely if ever go down. I do my hosting from them for my site.

Aha!!

Robert Franklin Leslie - The Bears and I

A great and true story that you’d probably enjoy. Be prepared for times both tough and tender

Oh, my

Blue, it has been a genuine pleasure. And though I tend to come alive as the sun goes down, I must try and keep myself on something close to a "normal" schedule. So I must be off to bed.

Goodnight, goodnight, sweetdreams!

And Z...
And RebA...
And tony too...

Hmmm, LeChat it looks interesting. I'll have to see if I can find a copy. Amazon says it's out of print. But I know the used book world (i used to work in a used bookstore)

Good night Noir,..

Blue I've seen the Richard Proenneke thing a number of times on TV I really enjoy the old style it's done in, and marvel at how fast the guy was at doing all of the things he did to build his cabin. I don't know if I could ever convince myself the cabin feeling toasty when it got up to 40 degrees and he lived out there alone till he was 83 amazing.

I have to say that i really enjoyed those programs. Makes me want to go build my own cabin and see what I could do. I don't feel like I really have a grasp of all my abilities.

I had to restart ones and got kicked off once, next time it goes I don't think I'll sing back on, so I'll say good night before I actually go.

He made it all look so easy, it's not, he was amazing and even so I had to wonder about little things like nailing the window frames in wouldn't allow for the settling of the logs.

Alrighty Z, then I'll say good night now. But just note that I have really enjoyed the conversation that has flowed out of here tonight.

I agree that he was amazing, just the fact that he dropped his life and went out there in the first place is amazing.

I do tend to like a little more substantive conversations too, it feels like I get to know a little more about my friends here.

for example this evening I found out that you and LeChatnoir like my self tend to be more open or at least think of ourselves as more open because we see so many sides of every thing to have many strong convictions.

Oh, I get it now. I was reading it wrong, like you didn't like tonights coversation.

All I can say is that I am thoroughly engrossed in Burning Man and the Eplaya (I might have to go on the 12 step program) and HAVE to, have to make it out there this year.

I also am thankful for substantive conversations and am sad that they don't happen more often.
