Aha!!! over in the corner, eh?

Hey, that drum there would be called a Darburka. Nice rat-ta-tat-tat sounds when played near the edge.

Beer?

Ah, the Kona is so fine. I see another bag in my future since I am going through the stuff like it was flaming Tecate or something.

Ever meet a real-life muse? I think I did once.

I can't wait to see them with you in em, buckethead.

{sips beer, smiles}

Things are typically saturday, with lots of kids running around, and another (friend's) on the way over to visit. Had lunch with my folks and the psycho ex today, which went smoothly, but his eyes just hurt to look into.... *sigh*

Actually, yes. I get lots of inspiration from the people around me, but every so often, someone will grab hold of your creativity and won’t let go until you’ve work it all out. And usually they never know they are a muse to someone. They’ve change the world and haven’t a clue.

Quiet here. The wee one's napping and the older one's off with her mother to a birthday party giving me a few hours to get MY FREAK ON. Yow.

Hmmm. It might break the spell to let them know?

Sort of a quiet, even solemn day here too. Rainy/snowy... things seem somber.

I think you're probably right. I've toyed with the idea of telling... but it seemed the wrong thing to do. Perhaps one day way into the future. I've been curious, though, to allow them to see some of the stuff I've created with that inspiration and see if they recognize their own. Not had that chance yet either.

Unknowlingly, perhaps, a muse stirs up feelings, ideas, that are translated into the work.

Is this how you see it?

Later giggles!!

Hi Z!!
Unknowlingly, perhaps, a muse stirs up feelings, ideas, that are translated into the work.

Let’s see if I can nutshell it:

I’m tending more and more to perceive colors, form (flow?), emotion, music... They kinda’ all overlap to me. People stir different things... sometimes after I’ve known them for a long time, others when I simply see someone from a distance and never see them again. No single thing, really.... but an complex, multifaceted... umm... feeling, I guess?... that sums up that person in that moment to me.

But yes, whatever it is, they unknowingly exude it , and it's certainly translated into the work I create with that feeling in mind. And I wonder if the person viewed it, would it appeal to them on some level that they couldn’t put a finger on? The aspects of themselves, translated through my senses, mind, heart, hands... I wonder if they’d feel as if the knew it somehow.

Not sure if that’s right or makes sense.

Are you saying you take inspiration from what could be called a broad spectrum sort of empathetic feel of who they are or particular aspects that relate to a particular portion of a form your working on.

What I am seeing in my own creative process is that the things that are set in motion in mine own mind by another person's presence can have a remarkable effect both on the quality of the work and my motivation to do it.

Hey, ya' all !!!

**stops, looks at cottage cheese, gets stumped look on face**

For the life of me, I'm trying to think of a drink that actually goes with cottage cheese...
