I don't think Fimo smells to bad but then I like the smell of polyester resin,.. it's not bad really.

It can slump if it's not supported, so if there are thin appendages or lager hollow forms you should ball up some aluminum foil to provide support before baking.

I'm gonna make some pocket type clay necklaces.....try to anyways. I was just reading about the smell and venting the room you're cooking in.

You should do that, turn on the vent fan if you have one (assuming it goes outside). Otherwise crack a window and turn up the heat a touch.

Little fimo ravioli,.. no,.. what kind of sauce would you use?

I would be afraid that during the heating and cooling process without at least a pin hole to let the air move a sealed thing could bubble out or collapse.

HHMM, I'll have to go read that how-to book again. I'll have to try it and see how it goes.
Fimo ravioli! hahaha! Gee, what would you use as a sauce?

funny thing about fimo ravioli, it's not that different from some of the things I used to make for work,..

for sauce I would use a crystal clear polyester casting resin and use both transparent and opaque dyes with a touch of brown and maybe a tiny bit of green to tone down the red, but I'd have to play with the colors to get it the colors don't mix true the green has some blue in it the transparent red is a little magenta.
Maybe a little cabasile or micro balloons to give the sauce some body.

Wow, Z. You lost me somewhere between the touch of brown and maybe a tiny bit of green to tone down the red and the cabasile!

Sorry I still go threw these (knee jerk) working out approaches to making things.

I made some of the food for the "harvest table" in the Mill City Museum in Minneapolis and some of it was done by someone else as soft sculptures but it was all put in one off antique stoneware bowls that eventually started to get broken as the kids played with it so I had to glue the bowels back together and pull molds off them and make them out of plastic and finished to look like stoneware.

So I'm in the habit of figuring out weird things
