Then of course everything will bloom and allergy season will be upon us. At least it will be green!
So the theme this year is like a giant camp out in the desert? With people bringing lots of shit from all over? uh.. -Marscrumbs

sticking head out of the NEB

Nobody get too close. I'm bitchy and have SAD. (I suppose it would help if I got out of bed earlier than four pm, but oh well)

I'm only coming out for booze.

I'm positive no one will bother because they have already proven they are above the law.

Plus everyone buckles to them whenever they speak.

It's true, I've seen and heard this many times.

I kinda am suffering from a hangover already. Plus I'm feeling sort of blue for Blue.

I want to focus on sending as much positive energy to Blue.

she needs it and humor today.

Well Mr. Sputnik, your Ouzo fits the bill nicely. Let's just throw all caution to the wind, shall we? I'm celebrating... I'm celebrating the fact that I'm still alive after last nights soiree. I know I'm gloating here, but when was the last time Sensei stayed up till 7:30 in the freakin' morning? Hmmm? And here I am, at work, fresh as a fucking daisy.

Yes sir! That Ouzo sounds like just the ticket!

So a certain publication I read's wine columnists declare one night a year "Open That Bottle Night" to get people to drink that special bottle they have been saving before it declines.

I don't know how many of the barfleas among us have special bottles that they have been saving, but it might be an interesting thing to do here. It wouldn't have to be wine. I've got some old Scotch around here and a bottle of Patron that needs drinking, although I don't believe that stuff ever goes bad.

How about that Guzano Rojo by your keyboard, Sensei? You cracked that one yet?????

I'm ashamed to admit that that bottle remains unopened, untouched. How sad. Worse is the fact that I (!) bought a couple of nice Cabernets from WA (of course)... 1984 was supposed to be a great year for locals and the prices on these went way up. I never touched 'em. They're under the damn sink.

Boo, on the other hand, never, ever, ever ever ever, gets the chance to get 'old'. Ever.

old boo. interesting...I have some in the freezer that's so old I cannot even remember how old it is. Still works a bit, though.

So I propose we get a few people to agree on a date for "Open That Fucking Bottle, Dickweed, Night" and go for it. Or maybe it's just you and me, S-man.

I don't have any old bottles lying around.

I read in the paper today that the average Russian man drinks a bottle of Vodka every other day.

Yes, but every other day he's sober as a fuckin' judge.

Ba-da-boom.

I'm gonna blow this quote from Dean Martin, but what the heck: "I once shook hands with Pat Boone and my whole right side sobered up".

I read that they are going to ban drinking in Moscow's public gardens and parks. People who don't like to drink at home and can't afford to drink in bars are outraged.

walks through bar and kisses each person on the top of the head in turn

I'm feeling a little better. It's amazing what a hot shower will do.

Now, everybody play nice or I'll have to break open a can of whoop ass.

walks behind bar and throws back a couple of shots

The Ouzo was fun, but I'm ready for something different...

Your at work on a saturday night sensei?

So today i went to a complimentary hair color assesment and consultation. I came out of there pretty much the same way I went in. Very unsure if I want to do a color change to this head of mine.

Maybe I will just do more streaks. Red maybe.

I say go for it Reba, you only live once. And if you don't like it you can always change it.
