I hate having a cold or allergies whatever this is. Blah!
So the theme this year is like a giant camp out in the desert? With people bringing lots of shit from all over? uh.. -Marscrumbs

You can't just put it in your coffee, you have to share.

Not much happen here as far as I know, there is suppose to be an art car parade on lake Minnetonka tomorrow. I don't think I'll go, though art cars falling though the ice could be a good time.

Hey RebA! Wish I could help. I have no trouble finding restaurants, but once I'm in I can't decide what to eat.

Reba use distance from home, pick the closest place you haven't been to, you can always write it off as supporting the neighborhood or area.

Lamplighter: I hope all is good with your friend. Also, I don't know of any rooms for rent here in my neighborhood but they do exist and there is a pretty decent community college here, here being Marin county, just on the other side of the Golden Gate bridge from SF. Change IS good,,, good luck to you.

Woof! Haven't been in here in forEVer! Glad to see you kids haven't made too much of a mess...

RebA, yeah, that pretty much mirrors my horror at Vegas going "family". *Shudders!* Gawdammit, I want SIN! I want FLESHPOTS! I don't want no friggin' DISNEYLAND!!!

Hmmm, so this is page 1876? Fine year, that. The Colt Single Action Army had been out three years, the Civil War was long (well, long enuff) over, and we were well on our way to pushing the American Indians onto reservations, tho it would be another hundred years before they would destroy the Chinese by building casinos. An eighth-grade dropout called Thomas Alva Edison was puttering around in his shop in New Jersey, and somewhere around now, a shaggy-haired baby was born in Austria to the Einstein family. Overall, an unremarkable year, no?

Aw, hell with this "historical significance" tripe! Someone gimmie a beer! Tish? You behind the bar, girl? Or do I hafta fetch my own booze?

I'm playing around on the 'chat system' that I think they're trying to foist on us as a replacement for the bar.
