Ah....you're a DarkGarden type, aren't you (from your website, anyway)? I wonder if we've met...Actually, I think we have. I think I met someone who plays what you play not too long ago, in fact, but I don't remember where that was. Perhaps at my bar (I WORK GRAVE AT THE DOWNTOWN CUE & CUSHION ON CENTER:::VISITING BURNERS COME SEE ME!!!) or maybe it was at Club Underground one night.....hmmm....You should check out my friend Nick Nyquil. He produces electro and he's really good at it, actually. I play you one of his records.
Thanks to Addis, I had more free time.

I go by the nom de plume of DJ Iconoclast. Was Djing weekly for almost two years for Shadow Garden, Bad Juju, and Dark Garden. I guested a few times on Monday nights at the now defunct Blue Lamp with DJ Lynx. I am presently in rebuild and hibernate mode. Occaisionally I guest at the the Rage in Sacto. on Sunday night - Asylum. In April I'll be doing a guest shot at Dark Garden.Fat SAM wrote:You're a Reno dj? Who are you?

LOL!! I like to call what I play "techno with teeth". Part of my hibernation has allowed me to delve into more of the "World Beats" genre... actually becoming a big fan of some funky dijeradoo grooves...Fat SAM wrote:Ah....you're a DarkGarden type, aren't you (from your website, anyway)? I have so many tooth issues and have had a lot of broken teeth and the like and the tooth pain is easily worse than the wounds that cause the breaking. I wish you the best of luck with getting it all taken care of.theCryptofishist wrote:So far, so good. Cant wait till next Tuesday when I get my new crowns and have my half tooth glued in. This sore mouth and not eating thing is really g ettin' old.Sandwichman wrote:Hiya Crypto, how is the day treating you so far?theCryptofishist wrote:Boo!

The sweet young thing at the gate kept insisting it had to be licensed as it had a battery box. "For the lights" we explained; "But it has a BATTERY!" she replied, "For the lights," we explained ... "look at the gears and axles, no motor!" "But ..." It was pretty funny eventually.
Best thing: a patio umbrella misting system hooked up to a garden pump sprayer thingy on the shade canopy of the bike. Portable cooling, yippee!
Larry didn't build it, we cheated and bought it from rhoadescar.
Our four wheeled bike is pedaled by two people, 36 gears, and moves easily most of the time. Of course, larry does almost all the pedaling, so I think it is easy. The biggest problem we had was the wind catching the shade canopy and shoving us in directions not planned upon. How hard is it to pedal your rickshaw on the playa? they and some of the custom built tikes seem really cool but some of them look like they'd be a bitch to power around in the soft dust.
