Black Rock Necklaces - 6th Set

Post by HughMungus » Mon May 23, 2005 2:55 pm

This is the sixth set. The length in inches and the number of each one is on the blue tape at top. As usual, PM me your address and tell me which one (by number) that you want and I'll mail it out.

If you requested one in the past and never received it, pick a new one because I re-strung a lot of the old ones.

Here's a sizing chart to help you figure out what size you might want:

How do you drill the holes? I've got a good selection of pieces that would make a perfect necklace, but haven't gotten to drilling them yet. Any suggestions?

Tungsten carbide drill bits and a drill press running at 250 RPM (I'd prefer a slower speed but that the slowest speed I could get from the drill press I found). I get them from here: http://store.yahoo.com/drillcity/restool.html

Warning: The bits and the rocks break very easily. Wear eye protection.

Hiya DP...

I don't know if I ever thanked you for my necklace, but I wanted to (if I haven't already) thank you from the bottom of my heart... I almost never take it off anymore, and it's well... It's prolly the only square blackrock black rock I've ever seen (esp. in necklace form!!) and, well, you don't know how many people comment on it...

Hugs from afar..

DP, thanks so much, the necklace arrived the other day. Very nice. Hope to meet you out on the playa. I'll be with camp LaMancha over in snowflake village. Come on over for a beer or dinner or something.
It's going to be alright.

Senor Playa!

Thank you again from Tejas. I received your necklace today and it's beautiful. I'm going to hunt you down and give you a big hug! Maybe a cookie if they last.
