Loving BMan & Yearning for Another Similiar Event -Propo

Loving the Style of Burning Man type events, so Yearning for more.

Given the great fun and interest of Burning Man, should we or another motivated one form another similar event, like maybe for sometime in the beginning of the spring or summer? What about a different environment like a remote lake, or semi-vegetated desert, or crazy as it may seem maybe even a traveling convoy (party-art-carvan) going to two or three locations in 1 to 2 weeks. Or should the Burning Man event be extended past 7 days?

This proposal is little more than the Decompressions, but what about extending the formality and importance of the Decompressions?

The key concepts of any similar event would probably need these:
1. Self Sufficiency
2. Do No Harm to Environment or Others - Pack it in.
3. Gift Economy - No Commercials, except ice at reasonable prices.
4. Participation
5. Self Expression and Self Moderation
6. Reasonable Priced Entry Fee

I wish to break truly free from being dominated by celebrities, oppressive corporations, regressive politics, excessive taxes, and ridiculous ignorance, and lazy people. Having more events like the Burning Man can help turn the tide of stagnate mind-sets, and help give better outlets for very creative humans, and the self-sufficient beings.

Regionals. They're frequently in the spring/early summer, last three days or more ... you could make a big western arc and hit lots of them.

Ok but they already have similar events out there already. I think extending the time of BM may take some fun out. If we had BM year round it wouldnt be as fun, so in a similar point half the fun you have at BM comes from having to wait to go to it the rest of the 51 weeks of the year. Antcipation is what makes it so fun to begin with. As for similar events try getting into the Rainbow Gathering groups, Moontribes full moon gatherings, things of this sort... Or start your own... Moontribes are my favorite. Its like Burning Man on a smaller scale. They have been going 12 years strong and its more of a family vibe. Very friendly and in some very awsome locations I may add. Matter of fact there is one coming up in September. They usually go for about 3 days... A good way to find out about these things is www.tribe.net they have tribes for all kinds of things including Burning Man, Moontribe and sorts of other collectives who throw events...
