Define: plup
Going through some code that was delivered to me today, I found this
comment:
//Locate and Update Parent Company data Else no Action
//If not found, create one and plup the appropraite data
So I'm interested in definitions of the word plup. Go.
* Yes, quite obviously it has the sense of populate or something like that. I'm interested in alternate definitions.

The tampon was bad, but that is really disgusting. And of course out of all the extra things you thought to pack, latex gloves were not on the list......antron wrote:plup--isn't that the sound of something valuable falling into a nearly full porta-potty?
I like Reba's definition better but I always thought of that sound as a PLOP, not a plup. I guess it would depend on how much ice was already in the glass or the consistency of the drink you were putting the ice into.

Experience from Ratanakiri Province, Cambodia
I. Introduction
(to be presented with maps of the Country and RAT)
Ratanakiri province has an area of 12,261km² and is situated in northeast of Cambodia, bordering Vietnam and Laos. While Cambodia is a relatively homogenous country, with more than 80% of the population being of Khmer, 85% (???) of the population in Ratanakiri Province is composed of 8 minority groups. The Tampuan, Kreung, Brou, Kavet, Kachok, Lun and Phnong have Mon-Khmer origins, and the Jarai Austro-Melanensian. The groups have clearly distinguishable customary areas within the province with a total population of approximately 65,000.
The people generally live in autonomous self-contained villages, with 90-100% of their livelihood being derived from the swidden field, known as chamkar in Khmer, and forest products. The elders and increasingly the politically appointed village chiefs govern the village. Village life is strongly communal and decisions are made by consensus though discussion and debate. Transgression from the communal village rules often result in punishment and fines. Their animist beliefs influence all aspects of life in the forest, field and village. The people still have limited contact with the outside economy even now. This is unlikely to continue far into the future as much of the province is under concession to industrial agriculture and logging companies. Few of these concessions have started to operate, but it is evident that self-contained existence of the people is set to change very rapidly due to the Government's policy of economic development

Speaking of vaginal ownership, I'm pondering working up a spreadsheet analysis of the pros and cons. I suspect renting might be more cost effective in either the short or long term. Haven't run the numbers though.PetsUntilEaten wrote:Plup: The sound made when a semi-flaccid penis is squeezed from the vagina during an inadvertent laughing fit by owner of said vagina.

See, that's why I'm thinking of a Russian mail-order bride. As near as I can figure, it's like leasing.PJ wrote:Speaking of vaginal ownership, I'm pondering working up a spreadsheet analysis of the pros and cons. Why just go Russian when there are so many possibilities?
