Oh, man - I swear my cycle was backward this month to go along with the Mercury Retrograde...I finished bleeding on Friday, and yesterday I was fidgety as all hell and fighting a bad case of emotional velcro - both textbook PMS symptoms for me, usually.

Pour me some Bailey's over a couple of cubes?

hi girls,

well, i was bleeding like a stuck pig up at reggae on the river (which was not that fun for me this year...and not just because of that either...just wasn't feelin it i guess) so won't be bleeding on playa, thank goodness for that...but for those who are, we may be hosting the Red Tent at 5 o'clock and Esplanade this year. the people who usually bring it aren't coming, so it looks like my girlfriends are probably going to bring it and pitch it in our camp. so come on by for some blood letting, sanctuary, relaxation, and general fluffy pillows and lounging, or just stop by and say hey if you're in the neighborhood!

Lovely Lanky One, are you looking for donations? I brought a box of femprods last year that I had the ex drop at one of the med stations (apparently, the previous year they neglected to order any, and it was one of the single most common requests they handled); I'd be happy to bring another for the Red Tent.

o your Purpleness, what a fabulous idea. never would have thought of that, woman its a good thing someone is paying attention! i bow to your staggering intellect yet once again. i of course was contemplating getting my hands on some condoms and lube to distribute - see where my mind is at! but have done nothing towards that to date...no shortage of that on playa tho, unlike femprods...brilliant. brilliant i tell you. and it would stage the event i have been awaiting - our dusty playa hug!

I just got through with the bleeding event, so also won't have to deal with it this year. Yay! This year's gifty is Fishy's cloth bags with a single OB tampon and a Ziplock sandwich bag in them.

perhaps with your attitude the best thing would be to stay out of the red tent altogether :) sounds like you and menstruating women just may not mix so well. at least for the women seeking sanctuary in someplace called the red tent...have you read the book? it's good actually, very interesting.

i never suggested being on your period was an excuse. nor did i ask to have my ass kissed. i simply suggested that someone who didn't know what femprods were might not be wise to engage more deeply than serving the goddess with foot rubbing and affirmations. but hey, if you think you can handle, by all means, piss off the bleeding women, i'll be very entertained by the results, i'm sure!

How the fuck are you people doing? Haven't been in here in a dog's year, it seems. Well, waaaaay back when I was having hot flashes. Then they stopped. Then the ol' period stopped. It was heaven, I tell ya! Yeeehaw!!! And just when I was getting use to the whole no-bleeding-thing and happy about saving money on tampons, the bitch comes back...with a vengence. *sigh*

I am so glad I am a woman, though. Wouldn't have it any other way...
