I checked out the Second Life site...it's cool....there's a virtual world....wish we could get that here. They charge you on the Second Life site though. Wonder if Sput is paying to play there?

Yeah. Oh, I see now, the right to have 'land' there and build on it. I suppose if I wanted to try and create burning man there, then I'd have to own some land. Maybe I can talk the sysadmins into setting aside some desert just like the BLM does.

It does cut down on kiddies. It's requires a pretty high end computer and definately needs broadband. I like that you can create an avatar there. It's giving me outfit ideas for the playa. I'm wondering if I can create an outfit for the upcoming decomp like the one I made there.

I have a card that I only use for things like this. There never should be a balance on it, so it's easy to see if something shady is happening. I thought about using paypal, but that links right to my bank account.
