Owwww...... It Bit Me!!!!!!!

Post by Rabbi Dali Rick » Fri Nov 18, 2005 7:29 am

Well I could offer a new piece of property I am buying. I needed space to be able to build for the next burn. After looking at what it would cost to rent space here in LA, I looked into land out in Mohave Desert,to simulate the BR Desert and am picking up this piece. It is 2 1/2 hours out of LA so therefore it is smack dab in the middle of LA and San Francisco, it sits on the edge of a dry lakebed. The Vistas are amazing I am going up this weekend and taking video and doing a little prelimenary surveying.

Here is the Info on the Property

Looking for people to help, looking for people with projects who need space , and looking to maybe do somekind of 4th of July weekend party "A Freedom Burn" maybe. Maybe a Thread of it's own?

I think you're all completely nuts, but...since you're all here...

At 3 am the sky lights up like midday.
Someone is waving a geiger counter around, but it isn't nuclear.
Someone asks "What time is it really?"

Somewhere in the distance, a sharper flash and the light fades.
Then the shock wave arrives.

The theme is meteor.

*dumping a HUGE armload of shiny junk and tools onto the virtuplaya*

Okay....We got a retrofuture to build.

*begins work on Dymaxion shade structure*

Where's my damn Robot Butler? It's bad enough having to carry this junk myself, what with my Personal Bubble Car grounded and all.

*the Dymaxion deployed, work begins on a Trylon and Perisphere*

At 160 km/h, and stabilised with a huge 8 cyl. motor in the back, it's just the thing to fly the Playa with.

We are sorry, but we don't have imagery at this zoom level for this region.
