CASH REWARD TO PERSON WHO RETURNS MY JOURNAL

I lost a composition book (black-and-white blotted designs are scattered across the cover) one night out on the Playa either in or near Spike's (the vampire bar). It's titled "The E.T. Book: A Journal of Sorts" and contains over 100 pages of drawings, writings, and other things of the sort. The title is written in Wite-Out.

The book is a black-and-white blotted composition book, school issue. I've provided a picture as an example, which can be viewed at this link (this is not the book that I lost, just an example of the comp book's style):

I really need it back. It contains 2 years worth of work that I didn't want to lose.

A cash reward will be given to the person who returns it to me.

Quick note: I will take legal action against anyone who uses content from my journal in any way, passing it off as their own. I can still prove that it is my own original work.

I think I saw some of your work on the cover of Time magazine -- it was the "Don't take things to Burning Man that you can't stand to lose" issue, or perhaps the "Don't flatter yourself issue".

For what it's worth, I lost a journal too but I'm not going to sue anyone over it. In all likelihood, both of our journals are ash now or part of someone's moop bag on it's way to the great landfill in the sky.
