After all these years, BARBIE DEATH CAMP & WINE BISTRO, the undisputed best theme camp not anywhere near the Esplanade, still is the standard that all of you wannabees (though A, you guys are pretty good) and neverweres (H, that's you) strive to become. So far, this entire diatribe is tedious. We have better things to do.

Hi BBSue!
....Dr. P, we love tedium....that's how we while away the hours waiting for the half life of the local isotopes to wear off above us....we (Kamp Apokiliptika) did, however, venture out en masse to BDCWB in 2005 when we were invited to come by for Wine and Cheese....splendid event I might add.....very Bully!! Hi BBSue!

Actually, there is loose alliance already in place between Inuisitors of BDC&WB and those of KA... if you look at purposes, we have same goals (Mutually Assured Destruction), just on different planes...

How can one NOT love sight of tortured, agonized bodies - even if plastic - strewn on various devices across landscape of camp? Looks like noce nuclear holocaust...

At first I couldn't see how much irony there was in that statement. You know, not having experienced BM at the Playa and all. After som thinking I came to the conclusion that it was just brilliant. Very Bully(!!) so to speak. I hope you will accept this most humble bitmap-gift as a token of Camp Herring's appreciation:

Dr. Pyro: We implore you to resist the temptation of that fishy smell. An alliance with Camp Herring may result in sanctions resulting in stale crackers and oily fishbits with your wine and cheese... i.e.: sans caviar.

Now tell him Bay Bridge Sue, just what else he might win... (I'm starting to think our enemies have all the fun).

Due to excess capacity at our top secret armament plant the Uncanny Alliance would like to offer, with no strings attached, 50 of these very nice Stinger missile systems to the Camp Apokiliptika folks to help bolster their already formidible anti-air defenses.

Image

This threat of low and slow aerial Herring bombardment can't be allowed to linger, the stench of all those dropped Herring would be difficult for today's air filtration systems to manage effectively.

Hey, has anyone noticed that Camp Herring's VIEW count hasn't been increasing by thousands per day as it was just a few days ago?

You can tell the "Wires" are on vacation in Tenerife. I guess even Norwegians need a break from carpal (or is that "carp" in their case) tunnel syndrome.

Expect Camp Herring (with less than half the replies) to bypass KA's VIEW count shortly after their return to the tundra.

While the maximum range is classified...the test site is in secret mountain laboratory in Idaho, USA...target is off Crete (shot went sub-orbital, remember?); I think Spain is within range!

Of course, it does take a while to reload....

The Uncanny Alliance is pleased to announce the latest accomplishments in the conflict between Camp Herring and Camp Apokiliptika. While the leaders of Camp Herring were out enjoying the beaches of Spain a crack team of special forces infiltrated the Camp Herring HQ along with their top secret research and development labs. Thanks to information obtained in that raid we now have our own version of the Herring Time Transporter system. Our crack Chinese technicians were able to make a precise copy which has been thoroughly tested and upgraded from that pathetic Norwegian technology and is now ready for use giving us an in house system for us and one available for export.

For their bravery and ability to withstand the stench of week old rotting herring our special forces have been awarded combat medals for their service to the alliance. We also tripled their combat pay and rations for the week.
~~~~~~
The Alliance is still neutral and not affiliated with either Camp Herring or Camp Apokiliptika.
Since we already have the one and only HTTT we have been into the future and seen that you were going to steal the HTTT. That's why we made a modified copy of the real thing for you to steal. Anyone using your version of the HTTT will turn into a clownfish.
So - there is no way ANYONE can steal the HTTT, ever!
So you think that your engineers are the only ones that could come up with time travel technology? We've poured lots of money into R&D and have a quite viable alternative to your feeble, Norwegian designed device. The main reason we sent our people over there through the stench is to see if you had anything we didn't and of course we worried for nothing.
See great ideas can develop in parallel, one timeline may have been slower than another but sometimes he who laughs last laughs best. If your technology worked you would have seen that others had leads on similar if not superior technology. Or in other words what you have is the eqivalent of Betamax while we went VHS. And everyone knows how that war turned out.
...to think of the incredible sacrefice made by those valiant Special Forces Troopers, only to find out that it may have been for nothing!
The HTTT is not the answer, I fear. Sticking to the age old principles of Disinformation, Interrogation, and Retaliation is the best bet still. The screams of all foes will be our justification in the future, and that is all that is needed.
Since we always take with us our research labs wherever we go (temporal time warp technology, ttwt) it can't have been our lab, though, it could have been one of our decoys.
Crazy scientists stir Idaho
A slightly confused gang of scientists blew up a whole array of experimental cannons in an Idaho mountainside leaving heaps of fish and oven mitts everywhere.
Investigators believe fish blocking the tubes caused the explosions. Rivalry is suspected.
The crazed scientists, led by a certain colonel, fled the scene just seconds after this photo was taken.
Time is only one plane of existance. There are other technologies out there that are much farther advanced than anything a bunch of Norwegians have come across.
....this just in....photos from the raid....our beloved Special Forces displaying what was once a feared tool of the enemy. Foolish Norwegians, turns out they were working on the Heavy Water version of the weapon while our research teams kontinued down a different path. Oh well, bravery is bravery regardless of the value of the prize!
Bully!!
