Angry Butterfly has a stomach ache....

Post by Angry Butterfly » Mon Oct 13, 2003 6:57 pm

I should have put this in the idol chat thread, but I had like my first migrane in YEARS today and now I have a stomach ache. I talked to 3 other aquarians who are having bad days too. I took some Kava Kava, seems to be working but if you have any ideas feel free to post them, or if you are an angry aquarian this thread is 4 U!

BTW, being northern european, I have the mutation where I can digest milk just fine, thanks, so it is not that.
I took the road less traveled, and now I would like to go back and find the paved one.

I was gonna vote preggo but since that wasn't on the list, I'll vote for geography.

take either Agnostra Bitters and Club soda, or NyQuil and vodka.

The bitters and soda should work. So far no one has taken the Nyquil and vodka route.

wow - i was annoyed by even looking at the title of this thread -

but it turns out I'm an aquarian too - no really.

I've been on a rampage for days. Starting with my sweetheart accidently braking three of his ribs - but you know - headache for 3 days & all. - umm.

i'm slightly less irritable now!

thanks.

hey thanks guys, it feels a little better anyway, or at least it was till I realized I was OUT OF INK... Made some great art today after I posted this, random whining seemed to get the worst part out of my system.

take either Agnostra Bitters and Club soda, or NyQuil and vodka.
Laudanum drizzled over a sugar cube and then set afire so that it drips into the glass of absinthe which you've set your sugar spoon over.

Take two and call me in the morning.

I'm also an aquarian prone to migraines, but I have no miracle cure for such things.

hmmm - I've had headaches & migraines since I was a kid - and don't like pills. Mostly I just separate myself from the pain, best I can - - -

but more importantly, a headache can be like having one engine light on your car - any number of things can set it off - so the fix is always different. sometimes you have to sit with it until you can figure if its stress, sinus, dehydration, allergy, or a mystery.

I used to get migranes all the time, until I graduated from college and moved far away from my family. Now I get about them mabe once every other year at most. This was only about the third one I can remember since graduating. That is why I never went to grad School.

I had this lady I worked with once tell me she got hers from eating chocolate, and that I should give up chocolate. HA! Later I found out she was an alcohloic and they weren't migranes, they were HANGOVERS! HA! it was funny. Know your demons. I needed attention, but since I kept running into other aquarians who were having bad days, I figured the universe and the milpitas stink were equally to blame, making a slightly irritating little demon into a big monster, that is why I made the thread, Although it was self serving to name it after myself, sometimes you just need to whine a bit. Glad you could join me.

You know, a lot of people don't understand my name, the "angry" part bothers them. I should probably explain it sometime.

I met you one time, and I didn't think you were angry at all.

It's true, I'm not really angry. At least most of the time. But it isn't an Ironic nickname either.
