It is I...along with CC...the other half of Tan-Dem.
Yeah! Junior Private Detective tomorrow night in La Grande...last November they passed through for the first time, and it was a heckuva visual show--the guitarist is lightning fingers fast. It's not punk or speedmetal, but the band has a lot of progressive rock textures...smart keyboards, Gentle Giant sounding fret work, and kind of an Alan Holdsworth/Stanley Clark air about them. I got totally mesmerised.
CC should have the interview tomorrow on KEOL beginning right around 6 p.m. PDT. Rick Mugrage is a local guy...sharp vocalist, poignant lyrics, hot power acoustic guitar & a decent person to boot...
I hope to be up there for the interview just to savor more brushes with greatness. Mugrage has one CD, and JPD (from Portland, OR) has two.
