I should probably be in the fuck thread, but i don't care........

Fuck!!!!!!!!!! I just played paintball with my 11 year old son. He's been nagging and nagging and his birthday is coming up so I relented. I wasn't gonna let him do it alone since i've never done it before either, so.......we went. Shit, fuck, fuck it hurts! Holy crap, i have bruises that are gonna hurt almost as much as ibdave's ribs. The one in the middle of my chest is especially bad. Ouch!

We bought 1000 balls and i returned 500 of them. I couldn't do it any longer. it also didn't help that i was wearing a neon pink turtleneck. It was not the greatest camo. Well, at least i don't have to do that again. Gotta go wash the paint and plastic pieces out of my hair........see you later.

Jewel - yikes!!! Try a chest protector. I caught one in the cheek (face) once that squeezed in under the mask - was black & blue for a long time.

Jewel * * * Ouch those paitball bruises do hurt. If you do not have a chest protector an old coat works well. If your son continues to play make him wear a cup! Ladies should wear whatever the female equivelnt is. If you are going to play any of those types of games where the object is to kill your freinds be sure that you all wear adaquate protection.

i should have asked for advice before i played! you're right about not pulling the trigger fast enough though, after i was hit the first time i basically cowered behind the big mats and took cover hoping for the game to end. if i did it again i would definitely get a chest protector. oh well, live and learn........

were you playing paintball indoors or outdoors? I think out doors in the woods is the most fun. But not as much fun as playing "hard suit" with sword and shield.

BB do you have any sword training ? I had fencing in a class once I liked it, but it really did use mussels a normal person never uses in real life.

zule, you are perfect in every way. no changes needed. i think whoever commented on the too close to purple koosh has a point though. i'm on the prowel again.

it was indoors bb. it was pouring rain today so i didn't have much of a choice anyway. i think maybe laser tag is more my speed at the moment. what i really didn't like though was getting hit in the back as i was leaving the game. but what my brain was really thinking about was, holy shit, this is what soldiers are doing in war, how fucking scary is that. if these were bullets flying it would be totally insane.

I never did any fencing. I played full armour, sword and shield, which is quite a bit different. Could get some nasty bruises, but not as often as paintball.
