Pom..........I have a 14 year old daughter who would like to go to bm too. I told her when she was 18. Besides the selfish reasons I don't want her there now, there are things she just doesn't need to see now. All in time.....

so, i need to go play mahjong in a bit. don't know how, but i'm filling in for one of the ladies in my mother's group. what would be the appropriate clothing for a mahjong game?

I appreciate her want to go, But I too am being selfish, but cautious. She does not need to see her mom buzzed up, and damn near naked!

forget about those reasons (all valid), it's hard enough taking care of yourself let alone wondering if someone else is drinking enough water, applying sunscreen, eating, sleeping, peeing...........i give people a lot of credit when they bring their kids, but what a responsibility. (I really didn't like seeing infants though.........breathing all that dust can't be good for little baby lungs)

no he's gonna be at the marina...see my perplex..I usally go hang at nugget, but now I wanna go to marina...not much out there yet, but probly will be the marina...of choices.Should be able to see fireworks from out there?

ok silly lil tale about Sparks marina! My friend comes down from lake tahoe to my reno home, and says shes taking her kids to the beach. I said but you just got to reno, why would you drive back up to the lake?
She says no silly, the sparks marina, I said ok Ill give when did sparks get a marina, where did they get the lake/ocean??? total confusion... she left for marina...couple months goes by and I say ok Im new to reno, go find this damn marina...sparks aint that big...couldnt find it...this replays over the next 2 yrs, a couple of marandering attempts ..go out seeking, with randowm directions from passer bys...still no marina to be found??(it doesnt EXSIST!) So finally I mapquest it! I get out there...and my oldest daughter and I, stoned of course...laff soo f'ing hard at what they call a marina. I pee'd my pants a little! hahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Growing up in Tahoe, Im looking for this hella big body of water with boats and such! not a overstated pond with 10 foot pier!

I think its one of those "you had to be there" stories...I laffed while typing it out...but thats just cause, when I added up all the times we attempted to find it, more or less just setting out for a road trip who cares if we find it, but was part of the original idea of getting into truck in search of.
It was 6 times!!!! hahaaaaaaaaaa
They keep it kinda hidden...lets see hide a marina? back to the pond theory!
