Well… there is no need to worry about figuring resistors, etc for the moment at least…

I got the last two white 12 LED replacement bulbs the Plup Boys had. WHOOT!!!

And they put out a lot of good light. Problem solved!!

However… I still want to learn about circuits and such, so I guess I’ll have to grab a couple of books on the topic. I fully intend to play around with building LED thingies and am always game to learn something new.

It is a great peace, Put togeather from small parts with screws and gaskets between.. Rubber bumpers and the socket screws in to a mirrored reflector.. It is apart right now for cleaning.. I will slip it back togearth in the morning.. I can not remember where I put the lens for safe keeping.. WTF is it

You might check out the web page which describes our playafly project. Not really sure what you're looking for in the way of schematics, wiring, etc. but you might be able to gelan a few ideas from the instruction/assembly portion of the page. Have a look at: http://www.playaflies.com/
Thanks, Iso...

That's a great looking project. I seem to remmember seeing them last year.

For the rickshaw or the trike? I'm going to get the old road hazard lamp I found retro-fitted with red LED's over the weekend, I think. does TigerShredder have the lens?

The trike is for day time.. The ric-shaw will be all bling lights.. This tail light would fit onto the trike nicely but no..

I have found a way to get rid of some of my junk..send it to this nut job in Ky.. He'll stick it on his flame belching corn shredder..

Asked Tiger Shredder about the lens.. He haas to sleep on it..

I'm going to finish the projects and bring them anyway..

Yep, yep... that's the same critters I'm using for the headlamps and tailight. Made it easier to wire up that way.
