Refill Lake Lahontan
Oh, so that's where I was in that dream! I think in that one I had somehow made a ton of money and didn't really care about how much I was spending.... (Of course, I think it might also have been connected to the dreams where the climate of North America was all f***ed up, and society had all but collapsed....)
(Ah, heck, I am operating on too little sleep. Still, that resort dream does sound a lot like one I had, and seems to have a similar setting to those others.)

here in new york state, one of our lotto themes is "all you need is a dollar and a dream"....
i once saw a t-shirt, with a stick figure, in front of a stick shack, with two stick figure girls, (you could tell by their stick figure boobies) hanging out of the window....behind them was a solitary mountain line, similar to Mt. Fuji..
the stick figure man had a huge stick figure grin, and the balloon caption read " I'd Buy A Mountain of Cocaine and Live in a Whorehouse ! "
hey, all you need is a dollar and a dream...

I used to say that if I won the lottery, I would buy a trailer home and a Yugo..., then they stopped making the Yugo and my mom said she'd stopped speaking to me if I moved into a mobile home!
Well, since I never even won a dollar in the lottery, I guess I don't have to worry about it...
B.
...though, now that I think about it, how much would filling Lake Lahontan with Jello (with marshmallows) cost...?

So here is your cost to fill lake Lahontan with Jello -
Knowns
Area - 8500 aquare miles
Average depth 650 feet.
Jello cost 2.66 pound mixed
so ((5280x5280)8500)650 * (2.66*8.3) = $3,400,633,716,480,000.00
thats 3 Quadrillion - with a "Q"
((feet in mile*feet in mile}average depth)*(cost of jello mixed per pound*pounds of jello in a gallon)
I suppose you would get a discount on the jello though, buying that volume. Didnt figure in marshmallows though.

Sorry, sugar is being confiscated by the government for conversion to Ethanol. You just have to make do with High Fructose Corn Syrup. Don't bitch, you're keeping some Iowa corn farmers in business and doing your part to contribute the the obesity epidemic.
Corn subsidies....It's an American Dream for Iowa farmers, elastic and spandex makers and diet plan hawkers nationwide.

Hey, now THERE is how we can afford to Jello-fill the lake! Pay for it via the next fad diet! Just to make extra sure, tie it into a fad weight-loss supplement and exercise device! Who's with me on this plan?!!

maybe next year, i'll wander around as 'homer' and his magnificent sugar lump....
ps....Quadrillion?.....fuck.....do they take food stamps or is jello as food sort of an oxymoron?
i think it's food...i bet i could survive on jello for longer than say, nutty buddy bars...
mmmmmmmmm, jello with nutty buddy bars.....
mmmmmmmmmm, food non-sequiters.....

Head of cattle? Naw, we've figured out a way to do it cheaper using petroleum by-products. Causes cancer in lab mice, and physical deformities in amphibians, but its cheaper than dirt and we found enough universities desperate for funding that we can get it called safe for human consumption.

If I said I was getting "frozen" then the waking up part isn't included. And I don't know if I can get cryogenicized. So I think that it's naturally called for by Deep Grammer.Plastic G'zus wrote:Does anyone but me realize that the term "cryogenicaly frozen" is redundant?

Thanks for reminding me-- I need to dig out both my insurance info from last time I worked for the State, and the stuff I have from both Alcor and the Cryonics Institute to see what I can do as far as signing up to be frozen. THIS time I *WILL* make myself get through all the paperwork! (I'm getting too old to just blow off all the work off signing up, figuring that odds are on my side...)
