A linchpin (or lynchpin) is a metal part used in mechanical engineering to prevent a wheel or other rotating part from sliding off the axle it is riding on.
Malleability is often an undesirable property in a general-purpose cryptosystem, since it allows an attacker to modify the contents of a message.
Malleability occurs as a result of the specific type of bond found in metals (Main article: metallic bond). In metallic bonds, valence shell electrons are delocalized and shared between many atoms.

"All beings so far have created something beyond themselves; and do you want to be the ebb of this great flood and even go back to the beasts rather than overcome man? What is the ape to man? A laughingstock or a painful embarrassment. And man shall be just that for the overman: a laughingstock or a painful embarrassment…"

Traditionally, oral stories were passed from generation to generation, and survived solely by memory.
With written media, this has become less important.
Conversely, in modern times, the vast entertainment industry is built upon a foundation of sophisticated multimedia storytelling.
Sometimes the word deprogramming is used in a wider sense, to mean the freeing of someone (often oneself) from any previously uncritically assimilated idea.
Suspension of disbelief is sometimes said to be an essential component of live theatre, where it was recognized by Shakespeare, who refers to it in the Prologue to Henry V:
"[...] make imaginary puissance [...] 'tis your thoughts that now must deck our kings [...] turning th'accomplishment of many years into an hourglass."

is there any reason to conclude that the precision an accuracy of naming
were any more apt
than the precision and accuracy of their cartography
and while the land mass held relatively still long enough for them to get a good look at it,
what's to keep their conceptual paradigms from doing thus:

instantiate vacuous truth

Compelling it to study
In a learned school
Till the wreck of body,
Slow decay of blood,
Testy delirium
Or dull decrepitude,
Or what worse evil come -
The death of friends, or death
Of every brilliant eye
That made a catch in the breath -
Seem but the clouds of the sky
When the horizon fades;
Or a bird's sleepy cry
Among the deepening shades.

Linearity as myth
linear comes from the Latin word linearis, which means created by lines
False Proposition

trappings of temporal reinterpretation into linear-construct: (a, b, c, ...)"If there be no first cause among efficient causes, then there will be no ultimate, nor intermediate cause...Therefore it is necessary to admit a first efficient cause..."

Consciousness is a characteristic of the mind generally regarded to comprise qualities such as:
subjectivity, self-awareness, sentience, sapience, and the ability to perceive
unacted upon reality lay thusly, disposed to being acted upon,
wherein informative modelling may be wedged in (in a purely intangible way)
tangibles react to other tangibles,
while nontangibles neither react to each other nor to tangibles
thus an infinitely thin wedge that could hold back the whole of understanding,
while providing a semblance thereof congruent with common sense

Although the functioning of this system is a prerequisite for consciousness to occur, it is generally assumed that this system's role is indirect and it does not, by itself, generate consciousness. Instead, its unique anatomical and physiological characteristics ensure that the thalamocortical system fire in such a way that is compatible with conscious experience.
