Yes, the poster is funny, but not correct.

Jesus is not cosmic, he was a real person just like you and me. The only difference is that he when he died he did not stay dead. You see, Jesus defeated death and because of that we too can defeat death. But like Jesus we have to die first and again the difference is that it is not certain what will happen to us when we come alive again.

Jesus does not remove an evil force from people. We keep our knowledge of good and evil unitl the day we die. Plus we keep our propensity towards evil even if we accept Jesus as the son of God. Instead we get something - the Holy Spirit to help us follow God's word. We are never perfect - that's not the point.

Original sin did not come about just by Eve, the apple and the serpent. It came about because of disobedience both from Eve and Adam. They were partners in this and they share the blame, if you will.

Besides, nothing is perfect not even this poster, nor does it make perfect sense because there is no such thing.

Now, most of those who dislike "Christians" or "followers" or whatever to do with Jesus - ever wonder why, especially if the human element is removed from the equation?

On a personal note: What has Jesus ever done to you to make you hate him so? Do you really think it's fair to blame him for what others do? Even if they "so-called" do it "in his name"? They might be sons of devils for all you know, trying to trick you. The Devil certainly knows who Jesus is and is, of course, more than willing to do what ever it takes to turn peole against Jesus.

Being deceived means not knowing you are being tricked.

Okay - I am ready for my lashing now... I have defended Jesus in front of all of you. I deserve to be whipped. Too bad you don't have any tigers to sick on me. At least tigers kill swiftly.
