thanks for all the Dream Quotes. Some have made/will make it to the website, others to the Passport to the Land of Dreams.
Something else:
The walls of the compound will act as a blank canvas for Burners to express themselves. Similar to the aesthetics of the Berlin Wall in the past and the Palestinian Wall nowadays, these expressions might vary from urban graffiti and street art to idealistic thoughts and slogans.
I'm a bit worried though about all the talk that goes around about people who tag and vandalize art becoming a real big Problem nowadays on the Playa. (Last time I went in 2004 it didn't seem to be a problem still)
I read about it in the JRS newsletter and was warned by BMorg myself about it.
So I'm providing taggers and graffiti artist and whoever feels like expressing themselves with a Public Stage, BUT..............I don't want the big Skull, which I will paint with an intricate Brainpattern, to be tagged.
What would the solution be? Clearly indicate with Warning Signs that people should not destroy this part of the Installation? Ask the community to help me with constantly 24 hours a day having people on guard to watch that the skull won't get tagged? Have an open invitation for graffiti crews who might be on Playa to create something beautiful and use it as a full time stage for their talents, so they act as an example and at the same time can watch out? Use special anti-graffiti coating on the skull and clean every day? or........any other suggestions?
Input welcomed!
It might be a thin line betweeen art and vandalism, but there definitely is a line.........

Also people from Bliin here in Amsterdam are helping me enhance the project with some technical GPS technology. They have a few questions about mobile phone data plans in the US. Sometimes things that might be quite simple are difficult to find out from abroad. We're not trying to re-invent the wheel, but want to get rolling!
