INdeed. The only advantage of guiness is that it keeps you from ordering mystery stout if you aren't in adventerous mood.
I love microbrew. I don't love each microbrew, but I love microbrews. I hated beer when I was in college, dating the boy from wisconsin and all I knew about beer was macrobrew american lagers and pilsens. With the soapy aftertaste.
Murphy's or Guinness?

Whatever lands in my hand after a long trek on the playa. Some kind soul Guinessed me after a prolonged Art March the other year, and at that moment it kicked the ass of any lemonade or other so-called Thirst Quencher ever made. Picture me doing The Nestea Plunge backwards into a playadrift.
Being a Kalamazoo Kid, I get fresh Bell's Brewery products...

I think that happens with any cold liquid.
Last year, on the Tursday I believe, I was caught out in the deep playa with out my dustmask or water.
I had only gone for a short walk but kept getting distracted and kept going.
I eventually made it back, and my throat was caked in dusk.
I couldn't even make any salavia it was that dry.
At camp I was gifted an icey cold corona.
I hate corona.
But there and then, that beer tasted better than life itself.
Nothing I have ever injested made me feel as good as that beer did that thursday.
