I had actually forgotten all of the exceptions to that rule.
Maybe taking an interest in us before you expect us to take an interest in you would be a better first step. It's amazing how many people just 'expect' perfect strangers, and on the Internet no less, to be totally sympathetic and interested in their plights and projects.

Not to mention, most on this forum have disparate interests held together by a common bond cemented by playa dust. Part of that 'bonding' process is being able to take some ribbing and dish it back, not wine and give lectures because nobody here is immediately sympathetic to your needs, we all have needs of our own.

People are always more interested in helping friends, eplaya is no exception. Take some time and make some friends.

Hi JK. Nice to meet you. Yeah, I get what you're saying. I can be pretty stupid when it comes to unfocused social things.

Hey, thanks to everyone here so far, and I see that even the jabs do me good.

And I mean the use of alchemy as it relates to consciousness, and not particularly drug induced. I'll define it later when I have more time.

I beg to differ--they were speaking and writing like that long before there was textingt. :( Texting just gave it some validation (more like excuse).

We Believe in YOU Jackmaker...

I'll tell youwhat I had given UP on the general public before I FOUND BLACK ROCK CITY. I don't like people much-
I find that most want something from ya when they figure out that they arnn't gonna get IT are complete JErks or just plain Stupid...
or a combination of all the above.
I was gonna change become one of them not be polite, be shitty and grouchy, not smile at people not be helpful I HAD GIVEN UP-

BUT THEN I found my fair home..... ahhhhhhh soooooo wonderful
a place dreams are made and created a place where everyone is happy!!!

Maybe its just a week, out of the year, that most of these people (BURNERS)
act nice and remember their manners and are creative happy and helpful... (But I don't think so)

BUT EVEN IF its just 2% of the population - that are even, part of the time as smart, creative, happy and helpful as they are on the PLAYA out in the default world then maybe, just maybe there is hope for the general public...

I'll guess you'll just have to join us at home and see what I see every year...
THat there is HOPE for the GEneral PuBLic

Until then remember WE DO BELIEVE that YOU and everyone else can DO WHAT ever it is they WANT TO!!!
If I were to wish ANYTHING I'd wish I were ME!!

Or when sounded like "a" as in neighbor and weigh.

But that still doesn't explain "seismic." All very confusing for someone who's brain just don't have that module.
it's a new age train wreck....

i had to look.
Simon, thank you for pointing that out. That is exactly where I am weak and that’s exactly what I'll need to account for as I present my idea to folks with a far more conventional outlook than I. So let me break down those things from my AM47 that might be construed as "new age" like this:

1. Following a Hunch ~ I don't consider that to be "new age", just good solid detective work.
2. Studying Sidereal Astrology ~ mmm, more like "old age". Separate the ancient scientific approach of sidereal from the admittedly fuzzy tropical astrology.
3. Dream Interpretation ~ Again, hardly new age, especially for a dream with such a richly documented recall.
4. Synchronicity ~ NOT chasing such blatant synchronicity as I have displayed would be the foolish thing to do.
5. Atlantis/Azores ~ I wasn't looking for "Atlantis", that's just an added bonus... pure coincidence, right. Or Synchronicity .?. Let’s find out…
6. Zoroastrism/Turkmenistan ~ Yet another surprise that I was not looking for; The Birthplace of Zoroastrism. And such a strong link with Elemental Air...think of all the travelers that met at the crossroads of that place, with so many varied languages and cultures. Both travel and communications are central qualities of the Air Element: overcoming confusion and misunderstanding and chaos were so central to Zoroastrian belief.
7. Ohlone Indian (Cremation Grounds?)/San Francisco ~ So much Fire here in S.F. The Great Fire of 1906. The Birthplace of Burning Man. I wonder if/where the native Ohlonians practiced their cremations(?) and held their Fire rituals as the sun set over the vast Pacific Ocean (toward Japan), viewed from such prime west coast real estate as San Francisco. By the way, I was thinking about this response today at work and I remembered that there are plaques in the sidewalk out at Mission Bay by my house that list the 108(9?) only known words left behind by the Ohlone Indians and I went out there this evening to see if the words for the 4 Elements were out there. They were. The 108 words are listed every couple of feet or so and seem to be randomly arranged. I was pleased(?) to note that the numbers 4 (katwash) and 7 (keneetish) were placed in series, next to one another amongst the other randomly arranged words and numbers. Go check it out. I see the #47 around me ALL THE TIME. Fucken wyrd. This shit goes on…

I hope you understand that I'm not talking angelic bigfoots here. I like to think that I'm fairly exacting with my phenomenon. I've thought this through. My task now is to properly formulate my language for each ear that might receive it and boldly transmit my idea.

“Truth has three phases. First it is ridiculed, then it is violently opposed and finally it is accepted as self-evident.â€

Hi Barbie and thank you for the vote of confidence and for your empathy.
One thing I will say is this:
If I am pointing to the moon, I hope that you will worship the moon and not my finger.

And could you tell me how to do a proper block quote??

hey, that's cool, you believe what you want to believe, but i for one only worship the Jolly Boots of Doom, The Claus, Mr. S., The St. Nick, Papa Christmas.

I see only the word "SALE" everywhere i go, and i'm certain, that the Lost Tribe of Judah that settled here in North America 10,000 years ago, unwittingly founding the "More!" mans, have left this residual clue to unwind the great ball of mystery yarn we call "Retail".

I have looked at the OLD ways of Keynesian Magick, and the Newer, lesser known roubiniesque models of divination, and have determined that "50% off" is some kind of code, a signal that yet further discounts are to come.

It's scary, i know, staring into the void of the Fourth Quarter, hoping that Hope will hopefully hopify our land, and we can emerge, no EVOLVE thru Lay-Away and zero-percent financing into a New, Glorious, Homeopathic Economy.

the truth is out there sculley, you just have to buy it online.
