The eplaya to me is a year long gift that provides me with laughs and inspiration, and helps keep my mind on BRC even when I'm a thousand miles and 8 months away from the event I love. Well, there's good news and bad news. The good news is that Santa lost his list. That's right, after all those years of judging who has been naughty and who has been nice, I have realized that naughty can actually be kind of nice. HO HO HO! cough cough ... ehum Damnit. Not that my list ever inhibited any of you burners. But I thought you might like to know that you are all nice in my eyes (with the possible exception of that imposter santa that's been in here with his crappy reindeer. Take 'em to the JOTS and straighten up and fly right buddy. You're giving us a bad name.) HO HO HO!

The bad news is that North Pole Inc.'s stock tanked in October and the board of directors decided to shut down the factory and lay off all the elves, including yours truly. So there are no presents this year. But as long as I've got your attention, here, let me give you my resume. You see I've got years of experience, lots of references and I'm more flexible then I look. Feel free to make copies and pass them along to hiring managers. Hook me up and I'll make it worth your while kid. wink wink [/size] HO HO HO! cough cough ... ehum Damnit.

Man o Man...what a lazy ass day yesturday!

I got up with the chickens...while the rest of house slept in..(.ya I know on Christmas morning?)wrote this poem, cross posted from the booby bar thread....

T'was the night before man burn and all through the dome,
Not a creature was sleeping not even that green gnome.
My stockings were hung by fancy garter straps with care,
In hopes that St.Larry would soon be there!
The burners were buzzing with hours from bed,
While visions of giant purple pickles danced in their heads.
And pinemom in her Teddy, dancing in my lap,
Had just grabbed a bottle and started to rap.
When out on the playa, a big explosion rang out,
I sprang from the bar, tripped, then looked about.
Picked up my head lamp and dusted off my sore nose
I ventured out of the bar to see where the smoke rose.
The full moon esposed on the playa dust ways,
Gave a full on hullicination that the night was really day.
When what before my bloodshot eyes should materialize,
but a five story hippopotimus with flame shooting out its eyes.
With a 50 foot dance floor and poles for spinnin',
this fabulous mutant vehicle had St. Larry a grinnin'.
Quiker then speed balls I saw him come down,
St. Larry carrying a wooden box so heavy, he frowned.
Up to the Bar he did stagger and sway,
trying not to spill the body shot girl where she lay.
"Now, Lady bee! now, Harley now, Granny and Crimsom!
In, Playafrog! In AntiM! In, DPW and Citizen!
As we all slowly came in closer for a better view
St.Larry opened up that vessel, and we shouldve knew.
Out in a instant, Flying monkeys abound,
throwing their shit all over us and the ground.
Then what to my pissed off eyes should pop up,
But St. Larry's hand extended with his empty cup.
After all this time I had hungered to meet this fine chap,
Only to be covered in his box full of crap!
OUT OUT OUT, I yelled, stunned even me,
Bullshit I now know He gives out for free!

Finally did the Morning xmas thingy....wandered around in jammies all day...ate brkfst round 11am. Vegged in front of boobtube for a couple hours, napped for a couple hours. Got up and ate again...Watched Priscilla Queen of the dessert 1.5 times (was a marathon on some channel i didnt even know we had, out in the 600's) Went to bed.
WAY over did the lazy thing I see this morning....I started waking up at around 1-2 am....got up...said no way, went back to bed....woke up damn near bedsore!

hey Pinemom we got some of the sideways snow too. Just looked at the planterbox on the back porch this morning and there is about 12 inches of snow on it.
