Take back your right to birth naturally. Be informed and responsible for your own health care. There is a lot to know, but well worth the effort it takes to learn. Do your own research, you will be glad you did. Remember, your baby is only born once...

I say have it in a test tube or rent a womb. It won't fuck up your figure, stretch your vagina or put you through months of lmorning sickness, misery and ower back pain. And speaking of pain--won't need to be bothered with that during child birth either. Intelligent design my ass!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Who said you HAVE to reproduce! There are already too many fucking people in the world!
Are you so selfish to think that you are so unique that the world needs more of you cosmopolitan junk buying consumers.
or is it the fact, that you truly are narcisstic?
You marry or choose a mate, that looks just like you then you have a child that looks like you!
Adopt a child!
Having more is destroying the world!

Adoption is a favorable option for so many reasons. However, it would be remiss to think that all of humanity will not continue to reproduce, so, for those who chose to procreate, knowledge and respect of the birthing process is a must. Birthing practices impact our lives forever and shape many other aspects of our society.Whether or not you are a parent yourself, it affects you in ways you would never imagine.
Surely you don't think that all parents are cosmopolitan junk buying consumers do you? I'll do some research on that for you.

We have a fully qualified Tertiary hospital here in Whitehorse. As the documentary points out, no one is disputing the merit in having things in place for a medically justified, complicated birth, however, in the US especially, Physicians and big business have interfered with so many who are quite capable of birthing naturally that you now have the highest infant/newborn and maternal mortality rate per capita in all of the developed world for this very reason. Cesearan Sections are very dangerous surgery and should only be performed when absolutely medically necessary. Not when it suits a physicians schedule, the nursing staff or the mandate of a private health care system.

I've helped deliver 2 babes in the field. Both were thankfully clean deliveries, no problems both were G2P1 We0ne I have gone on some dog awful calls, and these were 2 that truly made my day, and one's that I will never forget. No L & D suites, no Docs, just Mom on the cot, and a couple awestruck catchers
Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.

Hey Sailman,
Awesome that you just realized your signature....hehehe. Yes, when left to their own devices, MOST women are very capable of letting their bodies do the talking, as they were designed to work. I'm glad to hear the deliveries went well. Any babies now have you or your EMS partners name???
Oh and, I've been meaning to ask: I obviously camped with you last year, however, with your tag of Sailman, I'm not quite placing the text behind the person wh recalls the upside down Canadian Flag ...please give me a hint.
Thanks
Skyneedle

G stands for Gravida and the P for Para. Gravida/para/abortus (GPA), or sometimes just gravida/para (GP), is a shorthand notation for a woman's obstetric history.
Gravida indicates the total number of times a woman has been pregnant, regardless of whether these pregnancies were carried to term. A current pregnancy, if any, is included in this count. Para indicates the number of viable (>20 wks) births. Pregnancies consisting of multiples, such as twins or triplets, count as ONE birth for the purpose of this notation. Abortus is the number of pregnancies that were lost for any reason, including induced abortions or miscarriages. The abortus term is sometimes dropped when no pregnancies have been lost.
Therefore, the history of a woman who has had two pregnancies (both of which resulted in live births) would be noted as G2P2. A woman who had 4 pregnancies, one of which was miscarried, is noted as G4P3A1.

They were pretty quick deliveries, textbook really. My Medic training req. we do L&D clinicals, but that was after the fact
Ahhh yes, the upside down flag, which I had nothing to do with btw LOL
I was Camp Folly, right next to King Walla Walla, heres a pic of me and the big guy:

And heres the camp:

jkisha, g2p1 means a woman was gravid twice, with para meaning 1 birth. After they delivered the 2nd for us, they were then g2p2.
