Hooked on a sitcom: "Big Bang Theory"
My whole family loves it. I don't tell them it reminds me of the dissonance of fitting into the default world as a burner sometimes.

The whole show is about cognitive dissonance as experienced by everyone for different reasons.Mister Jellyfish Mister wrote:My whole family loves it. I don't tell them it reminds me of the dissonance of fitting into the default world as a burner sometimes.
That's why the show resonates so strongly.

Have you guys seen Better Off Ted?
The corporate ads are hysterical.
Is the company supposed to be SAIC or GE?
Scene-
I need your division to produce a mouse that can withstand 200 degrees, in three weeks.
We can do that.
Wait!
Live mouse or computer mouse?
Computer mouse.
Okay. Even easier.
And there was something about weaponizing pumpkins at one point.
