What about "unafraid of making difficult observations"?**burn** wrote:Wow, Fish.theCryptofishist wrote:We may have missed a bullet there.pinemom wrote: We were to have had the honor of Shooter camping in Booby bar this year.
You are either coldly cruel or extremely misunderstood.
I haven't determined which yet.

I think those three Tweets sum it up as best as anything can be in a situation like this.On Twitter, Actiongrl wrote:My last emails to him included phrases "f*ck off..." & "love" & I meant both equally. Caleb made me feel things & think. He'll be missed.
(I do not talk to people that way, mind you, so you can imagine he was particularly skilled at pushing buttons.) Sick with shock.
Weird how much you can hurt for the loss of someone who never stopped arguing with you. I think that's why I liked Caleb: conviction.

can "acrid" be used to describe language or a sentence?theCryptofishist wrote:We may have missed a bullet there.pinemom wrote: We were to have had the honor of Shooter camping in Booby bar this year.
A toast it is, if I may join...........oneeyeddick wrote:I will join you in that drink, but no more tequila....YET !!!
Caleb(Shooter), although DPW, was a part of my previous camp and camped with us a couple of years.
I had invited him to camp with us at the Booby Bar last year, as well as this year, although he prolly wouldn't have, if he had, it would have just been his tent , with him rarely sleeping in it , it wouldn't have been a big deal.
I was particularly wondering if maybe him and fishy could have buried the hatchet, in the real world, but i didn't go out of my way to make it happen, although I could have.
Yes , it was with a gun, a shotgun to be specific.
I absolutely do not believe that there would have been any chance of him doing this at BM, and especially not in our camp, so there was no bullet for us to dodge there.
Sometimes i want to post things i am thinking and I will type them, but I always re-read what I wrote before I hit the enter key.
I have found this is a good practice and elimates any blather that might come out of one's mouth, by reflecting on how it might sound to others when read.
I call it consideration, you can call it what you want to.
Whoever wants to can Join me in a toast now, Caleb liked whiskey a lot.
