Switch to decaf!
I think it is useful to know about unusual types of RVs.
I am very familiar with monocoque RVs and nearly bought a mid-engine V8 Corvair and I have never heard of the Ultravan before.
And they haven't been in business for some time, so it's not like it does much corporate promotion.
Wasn't there a street named Corvair last year?
Corvair links seem particularly relevant in light of that.

I didn't open the link.. just saw that it was something for sale.
If I post something that someone else is selling for me is that OK? If thats the case I'll start selling some sexy bus goodness on here. I'll just have someone else (sock) post the links.

I don't have a problem with the "shock the Karma" cult, but it seems this could be just a way to sell t-shirts for the next 3 years. At $20.00 each. seems like commerice to me. If there was no offer of buying his shirts I would not be commenting here.
A gifting society makes a profit not through the sell of things but through the good will of giving.

I think they might have offered their shirts in another thread or two also.

Someone's wanting to pimp out solar systems and is looking for contractors / builders to do it...this is not something that's in the spirit of the eplaya unless he wants to put up panels in BRC.

PartyRv is drumming up Business again..
Looks like they edited their post out, so I'll leave it.
the web site is still in the profile at the bottom of the post.
Alot of them do that to "linkfarm". Somehow google et al pickup on websites and how often they appear in webpages etc etc and the end reult is a higher listing when google searches are done. Dork or Spectabillis would be better explaining it in greater and more technical detail. Commercial sites goto great lengths to try to be on the first page of google searches. We still have a couple hundred non active users that just signed up to have a www plug on the bbs.
It really irks me when shitty companies go out of their way to violate the no commerce principle. Especially when so many of us regulars could put together something better and nicer for far less.
At least the pill pimps are gone thanks to Dork and that nifty bot stpping code he installed.

User replied with some lame commerce ads at the bottom. I recommend an IP ban since they wen't through all that trouble to advertise in policy discussion.

What is the deal with these raves.. I know the Regionals and Fundraisers for camps are in but what about some store totally unrelated to BM? How many raves are too much commerce for the regionals page?

New user made a post in a 2 year old dead thread in an attempt to linkfarm the commerce link embedded in profile.
The effort companies go through to try to fram their links amazes me.
