odds are 10-1 you wont even make it past Buffalo.
if you do, well, you're doomed, like gov. mark sanford is doomed, politically.
dont cry for him. He's always got argentina.
anyway...
rochester is heavily fortified by staunch suburbs, and we sold that damn fast ferry to sever all links to THAT side of the lake.
we are the 2nd meanest mid size city in the US per capita....#3 globally, right behind Mogadishu and Des Moines.
those Iwoanianites are HARD, and dont take shit from No one, especially no Dakotaettes, or Corn husking Nebraskovianins.
where you going? Vermont?....
they're already canadian.
I might point out, that, the border goes all the way to the Pacific..........
and, you know, if they dress like sheep, they'll be able to flood into Montana...........
I'd propose, as a self defense move only:
a sign at Niagra falls:
"Please, all Canadians turn right, thank you very much,.. eah"
It'll be like lemmings...........

what the west coast does is of no concern to me.
And, isn't the "inland Empire" a quasi-autonomous neo-nazi stronghold anyway?
i've been to idaho...i've tasted the Sauerbraten.....it's authentic.
i've no worries there either.
the weakest link is minnesota, but with al franken as senator, we should have no problem insulting the Canucks into submission in the Land O' Lakes.
so, unless they come pouring in thru washington state(the western part) and into oregon (the western part) and make a stronghold out of Eugene, where a fifth column exists, i think the US is safe from having to learn the METRIC system, again.

the "inland Empire" is in southern CA........we in northern CA don't claim to live in the same state.......Simon of the Playa wrote:what the west coast does is of no concern to me.

How could you abandon us in the West.......I feel so let down.......
as "omnipotent Poobah", I had hoped we all mattered........
yes, with franken in Minn., anyone would be scared to invade......they might have to stay..........
I still think the weak link is the sheep/Montana syndrome......you know how weak they are that way..
Washington should be easy enough to defend, posters of Bill Gates at the border and, a sign that reads " Right turn only" will lead them to the sea, again, the "Lemming Defense"..........they'll never reach Oregon, the Columbia will deter them, and, you know how they hate bridges.......
let alone Kevin Costner delivering the mail there........

Goat Head Wins...
i owe you one Fruit-Cocktailatini.....one can fruit cocktail, save 1/4 of the juice, pour 4 shots of piss warm vodka or until it's full.
eat all of the fruit,
and you want to talk art? you should see that baby come back up, It's like Julian Schnabel Power-Booting.
he'd probably sell that too, if it lands on a canvas.

I know this topic has gone in an entirely different direction, but I have a question that is related and could use help on, so I'm bringing it back :)
We are coming to burn for the first time this year! I am so excited but totally at a loss of how to solve the issue of us being full-time RVers and having our pets with us. Has anyone used a kennel relatively close to BRC and been please with the experience? I will not put my dog through the heat and confusion but I do not have an option for someone to leave him with. The closest thing to home base is in Indiana and lets just say that's a bit of a trip just to have someone watch the dog for a week
Next issue, we also travel with 2 parrots that have separate areas in our RV. Our only option as far as our birds are concerned is to have the with us or for us to not go at all. They are literally "built-in" to our RV, and built into our lives. Of course they would NOT be brought outside the RV under any circumstances, the dust is clearly a bad thing and I can't imagine how spooky the outside art would be to a bird! Not sure there is a clear answer to this, any other full-time RVers with pets out there please let me know what you did/do.

Full timing with parrots, I can't really imagine that.
In theory it's possible to do it with parrots in the rv, but I would be very careful of dust.
I imagine parrots are more sensitive to dust than people are.
There is noise sometimes even in quiet areas.
Reno should have kennels that would work for you, for the dogs.

Token always took his beloved Playa Chicken with him, a macaw, it hung around outdoors and did quite well until it met with a sad and unfortunate accident. In an RV, they should do well enough.
You don't have a choice with the dogs, they aren't allowed. Start searching for Reno kennels now; I'm sure there are several which do this type of boarding.

yeah, a fellow from DPW camped near us last year, and, had his very old dog with him.......there were almost more than one fist fight.......people mad at him for mistreating the dog (in their opinions), saying it's against the rules (I'm guessing DPW is excused), etc, etc.......it was a mess......the rangers were there more than once.
